Indiana Pacers free agency day 2 | More Pacers rumors, Jalen Smith to Chicago Bulls, timing of moves

two days into NBA free agency Pacers lose a player on day two jayen Smith headed to the Bulls is that good or bad what are the latest rumors of the Pacers transactions what is next for the Pacers in general we’ll talk about all of it today on the locked on Pacers podcast you are locked on Pacers your daily Indiana Pacers podcast part of the locked on podcast Network your team every day what up y’all happy Tuesday and welcome into another edition of the lockon Pacers podcast where are we of course talk about the Indiana Pacers as always my name’s Tony East I cover the team for Forbes and Si and today dive it into more free agency it’s day two Paul George officially a 76er Klay Thompson is a Maverick what is happening the NBA is changing quite a bit the Clippers have signed like 10,000 players and they look like totally different team some teams have done nothing the Pacers lost the player they’re connected to other guys sort of so much to dive into as we hit day two and we’ll get into all of it Jaylen Smith departing the Pacers he’s headed to a division rival very fascinating move by him stuff the Pacers have been connected to in the last couple days and if I think it actually means something or if it means nothing uh other rumors what’s next some other stuff that I want to touch on that’s been in my notes for a while that fits in well today we’ve got a lot to get to today starting with the actual news of transactions that impacts the Pacers the hardest Jaylen Smith is no longer an Indiana Pacer 24y old big man is headed to the Chicago Bulls the Central Division juice just ramped up three years 207 million for Jaylen Smith with the bulls that is great money for him to get I did not think he was going to get $9 million after the postseason he had his regular season was obviously fantastic shot the crap out of the ball right caylin and I talked about how he had 15 games where he did not miss a three at all that was almost the fourth of his total games he grew a ton with the Pacers and he can retroactively go through a little bit of his time with Indiana in a second but three years 27 million with the bulls look he’s a good player he probably would have entered the regular season as the Pacers backup five next year they have a very easy fall back into an equally talented if not you know ready for more Isaiah Jackson so it’s not a big deal for them to lose him but he’s a good player and is no longer a part of the Pacers and that of course is not great you know they would they’ have liked to keep their to keep him if they could but they literally could not have right this is something I talked about when Jaylen Smith opted out of his player option so yesterday really talking about this on the podcast or two days ago on the free agency preview right he had a $5.4 million player option he could have picked it up but right this second after Obi toppins deal the Pacers are closer to the luxury tax than that I’m including Johnny Fury’s deal in there who knows where that actually ends up but assuming they signed for to a standard contract which I think most people are expecting then Jaylen Smith wouldn’t have fit under the tax they would have had to get creative with Obie’s deal they would have had to cut someone or trade someone away or something so they couldn’t afford to keep him even at his old number so if I wondered when he declined his player option if he was declining it because he thought he could get more money somewhere or if he thought he could get more opportunity somewhere or both and the answerers both right with the bulls he’s certainly going to be the backup five and vich lowkey stunk last year and maybe the Bulls would look to move him they’re headed for a rebuild maybe they would just play Jaylen Smith over him if he’s playing well right so certainly opportunity to play there and when he can shoot right we saw with the Pacers on occasion it wasn’t his best position but if he plays the four in certain moments it’s fine so he’ll play more there right and he’s guaranteed to play there that team is rebuilding he’s 24 that’s a great landing spot for him I think in terms of minutes and then to get 9 million a year I mean in in in the current landscape of the Center Market that is really good stuff for Jaylen Smith specifically Pacers just straight up couldn’t have afforded that uh the only centers to get more than that this summer Jonas valent chunis got 10 million right he’s gonna start like that that’s a lot for Jaylen Smith but if he shoots like he did in Indiana with the bulls that could age very well as a contract right and Goa bad just got less than that you know he’s a a good backup at this stage of his career Drummond got less than that right so the Bulls clearly believe in him uh and the Pacers couldn’t have afforded that at all they had early bird rights like they technically could have afforded it but they would have gone into the Tex for a player that is not necessarily a need for them given that Isaiah Jackson’s on their team and Obi Topp and can be a center so this felt like The Natural end point Jaylen Smith leaving the Pacers once he opted out but I wondered if he opted out because it was going to be opportunity to play and like a guaranteed role or if he opted out because he thought he could get more than 5.4 million this season turns out it was both by quite a bit uh good for him that’s more money than I thought he’d get it’ll be fun to see him grow with that team uh very interesting to look back on what I don’t want to go into this too much because this is not the time for retroactive free agency still going on but it’s very fascinating to look at his kind of snit with the Pacers and the microcosm of what the last like two and a half seasons were for the Pacers specifically he’s kind of a good representation of it right they did a really good job from they they traded for Jaylen Smith the same trade deadline they traded for hurn right they did that trade a little later and it was really financially motivated I don’t this will get lost for forever because they traded Tory Craig for him which is an old guy for young guy trade at the time but that had a lot to do with the luxury tax at the time Jaylen Smith was not playing very much or very well for the Suns but he fit the bill of what the Pacers were for the last two and a half years take someone from another team who is valued less by that team and is Young and good and make them better right halberton obviously the guy on that list but toppen fits that bill n Smith fits that Bill Smith fits that bill among others right that they did a good se you could argue that with seak he’s he’s too old really fit that description but like that that has been a Hallmark of how they got through this rebuild so fast how from mid 2022 till now they were able to turn the team uh from a 25 win team to a conference finalist right Jordan war that happened with to a smaller extent and and happened with Jaylen Smith he came to the Pacers and immediately was better like instantly they’ve gotten a lot better developing shooting Obi top an example of that Aon Smith an example of that Jaylen Smith an example of that and so so that it took a miracle for them to keep him in that summer right if you all remember those contract restrictions they had because the Suns declined his third-year team option and yet they were able to find a way with offers of a starting job and a player option and this is why the player wants a player option because if they outplay their contract they can get more and he did outplay it uh clearly based on what the market says and he played well as the backup five when he clearly showed for the Pacers specifically he should be the five the last two years were about development and finding guys that could develop in this Pacers system and Jaylen Smith really was another example of that and he was to he ended up being too good to fit the bill but the Pacers have a lot of guys who can step up and be their backup center next year you know and I’ve only named the guys that have played center before but like maybe jarus Walker can play center at times who knows there’s just a lot of interesting factors that play with this but I like the deal for Smith I think it’s a good bet by the Bulls that a 24y old can grow into their team and the Pacers just couldn’t have afforded it they have his early bird rights they could legally have paid him this contract but it would not have made any sense uh in their financial situation to do so so Jaylen Smith out of Indiana he is gone his number is removed from the cap sheet and their only two roster free agents from last year still sitting out there are Doug McDermot and James Johnson who will be later free agents in the process which I only mentioned to say if we look ahead at the Pacers timing for the rest of free agency it would not surprise me if they don’t sign anybody for a good amount of time and that that doesn’t mean I expect that you can’t expect anything right the timing of this stuff is is just all over the place you just never know mo Bamba’s taking a minimum contract on July 1st but like in my head if you the guys the Pacers would get at this point are not going to play for them right Mo bom’s probably gonna be the backup five for the Clippers anyone signed by the Pacers presumably to a minimum deal a third Center a depth Wing or guard the vet just James Johnson coming back like that’s like the last thing a team does right signing a guy who’s not going to play and that’s an agreement the player makes maybe not in James Johnson’s case but that’s an agreement a player makes when they realize oh there’s you know may maybe they already know this but like oh there’s nothing else out there for me there’s not a there’s not a chance to be a backup somewhere there’s not more money somewhere like I should either take a minimum or just take a non guarantee and try to get to the cutdown deadline or whatever the goals are the kind of stuff the Pacers can afford with their small distance to the luxury tax that they currently have you know th those kind of signings happen much like right their last two signings Last Summer been Happ much later James Johnson obviously didn’t join the team till till December so uh that doesn’t necessarily count but some of their later signings last year or two years ago excuse me uh came much later into free agency so Kendall Brown happened like Late July last year on his twoa like the dust settles before that stuff kind of does so in terms of the timing of the Pacers doing their next thing I I suppose it could happen any time if someone identifies Indiana as their best fit I’m not going to say when the best time for that to happen is but if you’re waiting you know every second checking your Twitter notifications waiting for the next Pacer signing who’s it going to be I suspect it would be closer to like the end of the signing flurry for lack of a better term uh flurry they’re over 40 signings now it did start a little slow but once PG happened there all the way went I kind of wonder if some trade is holding stuff up now I’m not sure I think some trades are going to expand just given the current cap rules in climate I wonder if the Mikel Bridges trade expands to include preu and assign trade I wonder if the Deon Murray trade’s going to expand to include valent chunis going to the Wizards just for some examples that where it makes sense for some cap reason or another so uh lots of stuff that could in theory kind of change the market Dynamic slightly too that some teams could be waiting on or trying to actually finalize let’s talk about some other stuff that’s happened in free agency and some Pacers rumors that have hit the line since the last time we talked about rumors because there’s still stuff that could happen there’s still available players for this team before we talk about any of that though we need to talk about FanDuel I love sports I love him so much I watch them all the time never want to stop but as the playoffs have W wound down in the NHL and the NBA there’s fewer Sports and the sports aren’t sportsing like we all want but FanDuel lets you keep the sports going whenever you want all you got to do is open the app and dream my bets anytime you’re in the mood this summer FanDuel is hooking up customers with a booster bonus every single day that’s right there’s something for everybody every day allong whether you’re into MLB whether you’re into WNBA Futures whatever head over to fandel specifically fanduel.com lockone and start making the most out of your summer with daily boosts and bonuses FanDuel and official Sports sping partner of Major League Baseball and that’s fanduel.com lockone and we are back here on lockdown Pacers thanks for making us your first listen today and every single day your second listen lockdown math they have had my third favorite offseason so far and getting Klay Thompson is going to look so weird so it’s going to be the weirdest Jersey to see next season to be Klay Thompson in a Mavs Jersey um if I had to rank my favorite off Seasons so far uh the Brooklyn Nets would be first for me they have just crushed it and the Philadelphia 76ers would be two and the mads would be three but obviously it’s the second day of free agency this could all change a great deal Dame Lillard got traded in September last year everyone needs to chill out with their early reactions okay um let’s talk some rumors everybody’s favorite thing some stuff that’s been reported of late or stuff that I found interesting some of this stuff happened before the Pacers resigned Obi toppen which matters because their situation has changed in action but I still want to uh dive into this stuff to get going here as I’m clicking through tabs to make sure I have the right stuff open I apologize for the the short delay um okay let’s start with one that’s interesting to me uh because of the time cam Johnson uh of the Nets has been connected to the Pacers and it’s happened from two different people now which is why I think it’s so interesting um and I’m gonna explain why I think the rumor is not great uh June 27th was when Matt Moore an action Network reported um about the Pacers and cam Johnson and then June 30th is when Michael Scot Mike Scot the man he’s been on the show before I’ll try to have him on again probably if I see him at Summer League um he also reported it so Matt Moore’s line was after the trade of mikale bridges Tuesday night team started talking to Brooklyn about potential trades for cam Johnson the list is expected to grow but the Pacers hornets and kings are among the teams first in line that was pre- Obi topping so my eyebrows raised but that was after we did our last drummer show interesting I’ll explain why I think it’s interesting in a second but normally you know sometimes I would let that one go because it’s so close to free agency yeah not worth talking about but then Mike Scot another guy who’s been crushing it with the report in this off off season uh three days later and his came up like right when Obie got resigned but that is relevant I’ll get to why in a second says the Indiana Pacers in Orlando Magic also registered exploratory trade interest in Johnson League soures told hoopy however Indiana had other items ahead in its pecking order including agreeing to a fouryear $60 million deal with restricted free agent Obi to and so you could say right there that that qualifier suggest that maybe they’re not interested anymore I will say though that two news Breakers both you know I I don’t know if would call himself a newsbreaker two reporters doing that connection certainly was interesting to me let me say this first I don’t buy this and I don’t not buy this because cam Johnson isn’t good cam Johnson is an awesome shooter and a guys at his height who can shoot like that are really valuable right I don’t want to I don’t want to say I don’t buy this because cam Johnson isn’t any good right he’s got a role on any team if you can shoot like that at that size he’s an okay Defender and rebounder that’s a good player I don’t buy it because of his contract cam Johnson even for Obi toppen he scheduled to make $23.5 million this season so any trade for him would either require miles Turner’s contract to be in it or two people who make Aaron n Smith or less money right I guess an Obi top and sign and trade could have been possible I don’t know the net situation I know what their hard cap situation is right now I don’t think they are uh but either way are you is that I guess Obie for him straight up yeah but why would the Nets do that like there’s no salary that makes sense there’s no trade that makes sense you are you even getting that much better if you’re trading nemith plus someone else for cam Johnson right no you’re not so there the reason this one’s tricky is because of how much he makes there’s just not a trade that makes any legal and logical sense the salaries that would have to stack to get Cam Johnson to the Pacers and keep the Pacers under the tax now it doesn’t exist you know if you get enough salary that you’re not taking back more then someone really Good’s in the Trader someone really valuable as a young Prospect is in the trade so I get why the Pacers would want cam Johnson on their team I’ll start there he’s good he can really shoot it they have a great shooting environment guys shoot well playing with halberton tall Wing awesome that all makees sense right he just makes too much that it does not pass the smell test to me is something that makes any sense because of his contract situation this isn’t quite TJ McConnell the Phoenix level of weird rumoring to me where it’s just like there is no legal trade to to get J McConnell the Suns but the fact that two people reported it was certainly interesting to me and yet I don’t see it because there’s no trade that makes sense there’s no salary matching that makes sense to me unless the Nets are attaching assets then you could get me to think about it but why would they do that they’re about to enter a rebuild or at least it looks like they are so strange one uh that we will we will I will put into your ear and then I will say don’t expect too much there uh another report from Scot specifically was about another one that interested me because this was right before free agency again was Heywood heith Heywood heith from the Heat and his free agency market Scot said I’m trying to find it uh teams with where’d it go several teams with non- tax paramid level exceptions available such as the Indiana Pacers and a bunch of other teams um are also expected to show interest in pursuing Haywood heith League sources told Hoops Heywood heith good player depth forward not expensive like in theory Sure Pacers could have acquired him to be a back up and then had some more wiggle room maybe use their midlevel exception on something else I don’t know how much money he’s going to get he still hasn’t signed there’s drying up opportunities he’s a good player right he’s he’s fine he’s 27 he can kind of shoot he’s a good Defender he tries really hard um now with Obie on the team I don’t think he makes sense as a Pacers Target because he’s gonna want to play right even if they maybe they can offer the most money and that’s all he cares about because he’s been on some really cheap contracts like his career earnings are about $4 million and he’s 27 so if the Pacers offer the most money sure but why would they do that right they they have tax concerns and he probably wouldn’t play for them and he wants to play so Heywood heith again pre- Obby toppen maybe made a little bit of sense um but now that one’s a little trickier to see in practice I get why the piters would have had interest in him Scout reporting is good that passes the smell test of like yeah if they lost Obi or they didn’t find good terms this could have made sense but now knowing what we know I’m gonna say probably not a thing unless the Pacers make a trade elsewhere hey with heis Smith though good player I’m excited to see where he ends up the last one from Scot is perhaps the one that’s the most interesting I really want to dive into this in a full segment at a later date I don’t mean to brush it off right now because we gonna talk about it but uh young Pacer the headline is Young Pacers drawing trade interest I’ll just read you the whole thing it’s only two paragraphs as the Indiana Pacers have done their due jaill J working the phones with NBA teams across the league rival Executives have inquired about Benedict Ma and jerus Walker as they should good job by rival Executives to do their job and ask other teams about trading for uh good young players however the the report continues both young players however haven’t been made available by Indiana with the team looking to bring back its core in an attempt to make another deep playoff run this coming season um the reasoning whatever the part that matters is haven’t been made available by Indiana mine’s gonna play certainly has a rotation spot I’ve talked about keeping jarus Walker even if he doesn’t for lots of reasons including that his ceiling is just Omega high and exactly what they need this is the first tangible report of like yeah they’re not going to do that and doesn’t make sense for me to do that if I’m the Pacers I’m not doing it because they could be something good unless I’m trading up for a star I’m not doing that right now because maybe they hit hard this year in their huge pieces of the Pacers next steps maybe they hit hard in a few years maybe their trade trips in a few years I’m not just selling them off I’m not just making them available to the highest bidder I’m waiting for the right moment to trade one or both of those guys that doesn’t really like that this makes a ton of sense to me as the Pacer stands even if one of them is straight up not playing for them and they have to develop in practices or in the G League or whatever because they they could have a ton of value and importantly for the Pacers who are close to the tax this year and will’ll be even closer next year and then have to pay other guys them being on Long cheap contracts and rookie scale deals also was valuable to them right so um that makes a ton of sense to me that they would not currently be taking offers for them now if something changed in their reality and they were able to get a star player or they suddenly ended up with a bunch of other assets they could use in Trad yeah maybe you think about it but to me that is the right call that makes the most sense check out Michael Scot’s brilliant reporting he just packs so much stuff into everyone that’s what I love about the way he does it’s a little more old school um I like that and it matches with Matt what Matt Moore said so that’s how you get that segment couple more free agency things I want to talk about a rule I haven’t talked about enough some other signings that I thought were interesting elsewhere that I thought um I wonder if the Pacers could have gotten in on that Etc to close out Today’s Show and we’re back thanks for making lockdown pctures your first listen today and every single day your second listen locked on Sixers duh Paul George is a sixer that’s crazy locked on Clippers their team is what now who’s on that team uh locked on Lakers they didn’t get anybody yet are they running back the same team with the new head coach o what could go wrong there uh those are should be any of your next three listens to keep up on the NBA off season here on lockdown paac there’s more I want to talk about as we look ahead uh for the Pacers and free agency this is going to be moves I like or would have done combined with a rule that I talked about for like two seconds or so um but that’s pretty much it so the mid-level exception and the Pacers can’t really use the whole thing right now because of their proximity to the tax or excuse me their proximity to the first apron which are hard CA at by using it I don’t bring that up to be a w blanket I bring that up to say the midlevel exception is interesting because the best scenario for teams usually is sign a player you don’t give up air quotes give up any assets to do so give paying someone is giving something up but like you don’t trade anything away you don’t trade away picks you don’t trade away a young player you just get someone new on your team that’s obviously awesome and so the mid-level exception is the biggest tool to do it the Pacers have less of it currently they could open up more by trading someone away but what is new about the mle this year when I talked about the mid level I always talked about free agent targets right look at this player who’s on the market Caleb Martin or all any of the rest of the guys that I you know the Anthony Melton just got the full mid level right like the full mid level how cool this year there’s something new you can trade using the midlevel if a player’s contract would be legal if it was signed into a mid-level exception deal you can trade for that player using it like a trade exception right and so the Pacers haven’t used it yet and I don’t think they will right now given their proximity to tax but keeping it open or keeping that as a possibility still makes sense like later in the season they could trade someone two another team take someone back who makes more into their midlevel and they create a trade exception salary matching is not as important with that reality right so keeping it open does have value and using it right away may not be a requirement or the best thing to do for them to grow their team of the best team possible so just know if someone’s deal is four years or less and starts at like 12.8 million or less in the coming season uh the Pacers could just trade for them and give up no matching salary air Quotes no matching salary uh in return they’d have to give up some salary because of the first apron but not necessarily like the trade matching salary SO trading the mid level is a possibility and you talk a lot about free agency and free agents specifically leading up to a free agency you don’t go into free agency talking about players on other teams but that still can be valuable like I bet I talked about some trades that could get expanded like I bet it’s possible yonas valunas gets signed and traded to the Wizards uh into the mid-level exception there’s a couple more where it could go that way and the team just creates a trade exception in fact it wouldn’t shock me if the Pacers did that with the bulls sign and trade Jaylen Smith into the mle maybe you could get a trade exception that way am I I just thought of that just now I want to make sure I’m not um missing a reason that would not be legal but if they use early bird rights to do it I don’t think they’d be hard capped so uh I’d have to think about that but I think that that is something smart for the Pacers to potentially do so that is just something I haven’t brought up that I want to put in your brain is another reason of like hey maybe save the ml you don’t have to blow it uh right away man we’re very close to the end of of like starter level players being available on the market keep that in mind too you kind of think about where free agency is in the direction it’s headed um Paul George is going to Philly talked about that already that doesn’t really relate to the Pacers but for those of you who wondered if it was even possible for him to return to the Pacers he got $212 million he did not opt into his contract there was a0 perc chance he was ever going to return if that is the framework of the path he was going and hey Paul George and his team if his whole goal of the summer was to maximize his earnings just they just crushed it they did an awesome job uh credit to them and if you wanted to stay on the west coast but clearly he didn’t he signed in Philly uh lot of people qu had questions like Klay Thompson could the Pacers use their full on him yeah if you would have agreed to it but he got more than that right he got traded into a trade exception the Mavs have which allowed them to get him for more that’s more than the Pacers could have offered right so those a lot of the good players uh they’re good the Pacers couldn’t afford them they couldn’t afford clay OG PG uh any of those guys so that is another part of their run it back kind of strategy you’ve seen this Summer that has happened okay stuff that I like that other teams did that if I’m the Pacers if legally possible I would have sniffed it I would have can I do that uh five for 90 for Patrick Williams that that could end up being an awful contract to be clear and the Pacers couldn’t have done this without a funky sign and trade or something but I like Patrick Williams I am I I think that’s going to end up being a good deal for the Bulls I’ve been wrong before about young players obviously everybody is but I like that one for the Bulls I’ll be very curious how that ends up Pacers could not have done that at that price I did talk about him with Alex Goen on the small forward free agency episode um Luke Canard got his team option declined I wonder if if I mean this would probably require a trade from the Pacers but like if they have a shooting need if they can get him for cheap that’d be interesting but again they can’t at this point in the off season these are just like I’m just saying guys like I might as well just be hanging out with my friends being like remember that player um Luke Canard prior to obit toop and I was like um that’s an interesting one and I still wonder what his fre agency is going to look like um Zeke Zeke not zek Naji what am I saying dck Jones Jr and Nai Marshall not Zeke nji I like both of their contracts quite a bit I think Obi Tobin’s a little better than them which is why he got more money but you know 10ish million a year a little over that for Derk Jones Jr nine million year for Naj Marshall those are good contracts Pacers could have uh instead of Obi to and had those guys on mid-level exception deals Obie’s better in a better fit but those guys are a little better on the defensive end so at least if you’re the Pacers you have like hey let let’s let’s call each other about this and talk about it uh Jeff dton no one really knows who he is I watched him play for the uh in the G League last year for the Philadelphia 76ers uh affiliate team and he was great for them and then he ended up getting promoted onto the Sixers roster uh later in the season and he was also quite good at times for the Sixers uh he ended up over 19 points a game in the G league for the Raptors last year and then ended up playing uh over 20 points a game in the playoffs 32 and a half points a game in the playoffs for the Delaware Blue coats right and that’s when I saw him for uh against the Mad Ants last year and then with the Sixers he was still good and he was good with the Raptors before that and everybody with Toronto was like hey why didn’t we keep this guy and a bunch of people I know who covered the Sixers were wondering why they didn’t keep that guy for cheap he’s out there and he’s been pretty efficient and getting better he’s only 26 you could do worse with your last roster spot if you need a guard than Jeff dowon and he’s gonna be out there because the Sixers declined his team option I’ll be very curious up there Troy Brown Troy Brown’s had an odd career he had four million I believe guaranteed on his contract with Detroit after last year that got declined he is is okay I watched him more with the Wizards when he got drafted into the NBA I believe he was a lottery pick maybe right after that um and he was like he was efficient last year is before before the Pistons he did not play well for the Pistons um but prior to the Pistons he was like pretty efficient and he he scored good enough and he like started games for Detroit and was okay in Minnesota and he averaged over three rebounds a game he can kind of pass he doesn’t mess up that much I like Troy Brown I’m surprised he’s not on another team already his Advanced stats are pretty solid again ignore the Detroit then it’s very bad um but low turnover rate on decent usage good rebound and assist stats I like Troy Brown I wonder if he could be a minimum guy on the market for the Pacers but again he’s probably looking for either money or minutes right that’s the tricky part that they get to is finding somebody who is not expecting either but you know for a 66 Wing if he happens to be available I quite like him I’m very surprised that at $4 million the Detroit Pistons I get they have a new front office but I’m very surprised uh that he’s going to wiggle free from the Pistons which maybe is good for him I will keep doing the moves I like slh have done stuff as the offseason progresses there’s more of them but those are the ones that at least to me were the most realistic I guess just niff round for the Pacers um once they signed Obie a lot of those got really closed off so lots to come uh summer league practice we got the summer league roster for the Pacers we’ll talk about that closer to summer league but that came out on Tuesday EXC EXC me Monday we know they’re scheduled now so summer league previews coming either late this week or early next week I want to do another show this week with a guest talking about the I think I glossed over SE yakum too quickly because the offseason was still going but more on sakam resigning and top it and the team’s Direction and then as signings roll in we’ll just do a show on them because that’s how this works so it’s hard to say what you’re going to get tomorrow because it depends what happens in the NBA and with the Pacers but I’m preparing to record with somebody tomorrow so you should get a podcast with them uh at some point this week and then we’ll see when it if it’s summer L time or signings time or just whatever what the Pacers can do next all sorts of stuff so as free agencies rolling there’s always something to talk about for the Pacers and you know we’ll cover it right here on the lockdown Pacers podcast hope you guys enjoyed Today’s Show I’m on Twitter or X or whatever you happen to call it in your life at Tony R East and the show is there at lockon Pacers uh if you have a question that’s the best place to reach me but YouTube comments are also a good way to do that thank you all for listening hope you enjoyed Today’s Show back tomorrow talking more Pacers free agency tell then everybody have a wonderful day
