we’re gonna really be scraping the bottom of the barrel

  2. I won’t lie, we are entering territory where I think we are backed into burning additional draft assets to fill the center hole….

There is no coming back after the Bridges trade, every single year until 2030 where we don’t put ourselves in a position of being a top 2-3 roster in the league is a failure.

We absolutely *cannot* enter the season with Sims and possibly Precious as our backup C options when Mitch misses 50 games every year. We couldn’t lay a finger on the Celtics like that.

Yeah were cooked. Second big is so essential and we’re digging for scraps now. Gotta pray Mitch stays healthy and someone takes a shocking leap.

Goga got more than we could’ve afforded to give him if I’m not mistaken. We only have one exception available to us and it’s at 5.9 million. Goga getting paid almost 8 mill a year. I wonder tho, where he will be playing considering they have Mo Wagner and Wendell Carter

Gotta make sure we keep Precious now and then take a flyer on a backup Center that can play better than Jericho

Didn’t think I’d be crashing out over a Goga signing but I guess this is where we are now

  7. Re-sign Precious. Put Mitch in the Futurama cryo chamber and take him out in April.

Hope this FO has a plan. Not sure what it is at this point, but it’s been known since the season ended that OKC wants IHart and can easily outbid us. We did an all in trade and didn’t draft a center, didn’t trade for one and didn’t sign one and now there’s nobody left.

Either they have a plan they will execute in the next few weeks or this is a big screw up/miscalculation on their end.

I love Mitch, great dude, but he can’t stay healthy and is very limited on offense. We needed someone else good to be 1A/1B to Mitch like IHart was.

Maybe we can find a way to add Dayron Sharpe to the Mikal deal.

just gonna say it: i think leon messed up with this years draft. at first i thought ihart was a done deal but its clear now that leon was just hoping hed come back.

Drafting C position is key. We have one at least so that’s good. Walker Kessler might work but doubt we can get him. Maybe just get Biyambo or whatever on the minimum until we figure it out.

  12. We went from “league fucked” to “we fucked”

Time for Frederic Weis to make good on his draft day promise

I appreciate Bitadze for all he did for our fanbase, best of luck in Orlando

Hopefully this leads to us playing more small ball with Randle at the 5. I really think he can bang with NBA centers and hold his own.

Alright. I guess Dwight Howard it is lol. He can play 12mins right. Grab boards, block/interrupt shots

  17. Trade for Jalen Duren. Bring him home. Once a Knick always a Knick

Fuck it, give us the Wiseman redemption arc. If Thibs is the big man whisperer, I’m sure he can get some good usage out of Wiseman.
