He may be vegan now, but he still got BEEF with the haters and doubters!

What is Luka’s diet? (Im a Mavs fan, and hope I can read stuff like that about Luka someday) No need to be a “vegan diet”, just a “diet” would be a win already. š

From the article, he isnāt full time vegan, but he does state that being vegan or doing vegan phases gives him clarity bordering on a mental reset.Ā Iām not diminishingĀ veganism by saying this, but I wonder if the mental gains people get from switching to restrictive diets might be as much from increased practice of mindfullness throughout the day. If we all spent more time planning, considering, and taking actions that we take with clear positive intent and self-love at regular intervals throughout the day, I bet there is a large benefit to be gained from that alone.
Edit: Mindfullness as in being present and focused on the tasks and actions at hand without distracting thoughts, not just mindful meditation. The contrast is mindlessness, as in, mindlessly grabbing something quick and shoving it in your face, which is what most of us do. Mindfulness is required to take on a specific diet, especially early on, and acts like a moving meditation that happens organically throughout the daily actions. Basically, weād all probably be healthier and happier if we spent a few times throughout the day completely āin the momentā, and eating gives us multiple touch points to do this automatically.Ā

You hear this so often with high level athletes. If I recall correctly Brady and Gronk went vegan or at least vegetarian.
