The FO has determined we need to look for a 5 in the trade market 100%.
It’s not about guys like Wiseman, Drummond, Bitadze etc. by themselves. It’s about how we would have lost *nothing* by giving a few million per year to Wiseman in order to see whether he develops into a solid backup.
Not taking a flyer on one of these guys doesn’t make sense if the alternative is *doing nothing*.
Now that doesn’t mean the trade has to come today, next week, or even next month. Leon has shown himself to be a very patient man on numerous occasions. But I’d be thoroughly shocked if there is no movement by the trade deadline during the mid-season period.

But I think Thibs might just hire Arya and have him left dead in Penn Station after a week of practice.
