so PG appeared in 74 games last season the most he’s played during his Five Seasons with the Clippers averaging 23 points five rebounds four assists shooting 47% from the field 41% from three so what what is your reaction to PG dipping from the Clippers signing a Max contract with the Sixers um I I think what happened is when they signed Kawai to that deal and they didn’t want to make him higher than Kawai I think that really rubbed him the wrong way yeah um cuz you know that deal if Kawai is here and you’re you’re here that deal messes up his Worth right so I I think it was probably like a slap in the face for Paul George and he was on the move but didn’t Paul George say he didn’t want to be the man Paul George he said that [ __ ] in public he say he he was comfortable being a number two that was last year right so you last year right so they must have last year right I wasn’t I you know he’s the man this year is a whole different right but you saying that is the reason why we didn’t pay you like that last year this year is this year all allar past season the last year I was number two this year I’m number one goddamn it show that he could play nearly a full season I mean I like the move though to Philly is there in the playoffs yeah that’s I like the move I like that they got Eric Gordon Andre Drummond like they they got pieces I think he’ll flourish over here more than he would if stayed with the Clippers no I think the the clipp is just a weird like it’s just built weird weird energy yeah yeah definitely weird build on some bad bones and I as as somebody who’s been the man on the team and Paul George you kind of he probably felt like they were trying to force him to take like the same deal like you’re not going to force me to take the same deal kawhai took three take three to yeah St now it don’t work mhm like well I did that [ __ ] six years ago yeah right we came here together sounded good then nothing’s come of it no allar this year was hearing the playoffs yeah you dude ain’t really been reli I know I had some injuries but I’m hey been here more than him fact right hey been available more than him I think that I think that extra year was it was a deal breaker right 22 what was the what what did the Clippers even offer him it was only a threeyear deal whatever it was somewhere in the kawhai range Ka got but it was only a threeyear deal and he wanted that fourth year like he wanted the fourth year so man wanted all his money you can’t never be met 12 or 220 22 what was Ka uh was three for like 150 160ish I believe somewhere in that range oh what did James want from from Philly the same deal that Paul got 33 yeah three for 153 for Kawai three no what was what did James want I don’t know whatever I don’t know what his max was yeah what did James want from Philly the same thing Paul got it was no it have been more option yeah he yeah he wanted to uh yeah get his he Harden took that player option but was expecting a Max contract I think somewhere in that range so essentially what happened is it would have been more right his max deal would have been more okay six into the Clippers got some assets and capital back from the Clippers and then just snatched Paul George away there are reports that the Clippers were trying to do a sign and trade with the Sixers but it’s of no benefit of the Sixers to do that got and now PG just walks so basically he got Harden’s bread Yeah Yeah from Dar Mo from Dar Mo yeah hey shout out and I think it’s going cuz like P work like like like PG get in that lab he work yeah yeah so that’s going to force Joel to be in better shape and it’s a lot to is so I like I mean I like roster I don’t like that he’s at the I just don’t like the that he’s at the four who hold right now right now when you look at the lineup UB at the two yep G Gordon Gordon ain’t starting he’s not starting Gord U yeah I’m going tyres Maxi U PG PG we will hope that that’s what I said we will hope they do that yeah Eric Gordon ain’t starting hell no hell no still need a four yeah still still constructing that roster and getting it squared away cuz they don’t have a four I’m just looking off what they they posted the picture I don’t like that right right now the lineup has a ho yeah yeah okay they need another guard I like Kyle L still going back there knows Nick nurse system he’s Dependable yeah um oh he’s back there too yeah I think I think that’ll be a good solid bring back right um go get B bow back with the Suns one year about one year one year what they drafted a five though right one year one took McCain let me see from might be from UCLA oh D Bona yeah they grabb Bona right second round I don’t know if he’s quite ready to be thrust to that role going be all right man I mean last week we were talking about the and all the moves they made and they kind of mooved to the Forefront as the biggest threat to the Celtics but do the Sixers have the best big three in the East right now with this PG Maxi embiid big three the best big three yeah with three yeah I mean cuz they got uh two two All Stars their favor on that side yeah cuz they wouldn’t had that money if he would have made it all NBA nope yeah that’s what I said listen hey hey voters he going to hear me 300,000 you don’t vote for don’t vote for 300,000 don’t vote for our yeah you spend about 2 million don’t vote for my guy just to get him for a couple hundred million dollar so I think the biggest question mark with this Sixers Squad is obviously Health INB situation last season missing a ton of games PG historically in these past five years with the Clippers hasn’t it been available a lot of time so what’s the Sixers ceiling if embiid and PG can stay healthy this season a problem I think issue man like you got somebody that does something that that plays at a certain speed with then Tyrese Maxi that’s Relentless with the ball in his hands put up big numbers with or without Joel out there um [ __ ] got a mid-range Monon Paul mismatch problem at the five and whatever position position you want to put Paul at you got mismatches uh it’s an issue put a couple Shooters and athletes around that andh it’s an issue you got another Creator you got now you got you know now you got technically three halfcourt players I got three halfcourt players a speed demon three of them who can shoot those same creators can shoot then you got spot up Shooters you got you know if you want to double jol and beid now you got Paul George sitting out there by himself working right I mean that’s Eric Gordon and you got Eric Gordon who just sitting there and he get it all Fast N they G Dam they gonna be they’re gonna be nice really nice Andre jumm this might be the year they can finally get over Boston the year we can trust the process actually BR what you think about this Sixers big three East I love it um like you said Paul Tyrese Maxi and beid all playing together you add Eric Gordon and Andre jond um yeah man I think this might be the year where they kind of do get over the hump like I do got them going to the Eastern Conference Finals now making that pickup with Paul George so when you look at this Sixers big three PG maxian beid do you think that they’re better yeah than the Bucks big three of dam Yiannis and Chris mlon healthy for Mr B yeah everybody healthy injuries turned off no not bucks you still rolling with the buck he don’t believe he having a hard time believe he convincing himself right he over there trying to convince himself [ __ ] [ __ ] I got to stick with my answer got stick with my answer look away look away look away don’t don’t know I got to get that b go with the buck Championship I’m go with the buck Championship like I said last four years ago three years ago three still recent still in these 2020s but like I said last week we were talking about about the Nicks and the threat that they pose to the Celtics in the East so I want to know who’s the biggest threat to the Celtics in the East right now between the Sixers or the Knicks Dr and beid Jo andem for sure Sixers Dr embiid because that’s one person that they can’t like the wall that they used to use against him is now basically irrelevant because now you got other players that can shoot other players that can dve like you you know watching Boston you know in the finals right there’s there’s just the style of play is made for a dominant big right they’re they they going to lose to they can lose to last year’s Denver depending on what Denver gets this year right and um mbid somebody who can play inside out um it’s going to be hard for them to really you know protect that basket and now when you add Paul George it’s throws in another element that I don’t think Boston is prepared to guard Austin they got their squad coming back too though they yeah coming back you still that’s what I’m saying you still got to add pieces you can’t no he said they was looking to enhance like tweak their roster a little bit Yeah they going to have to just a little bit yeah everybody trying to get better man Nicks got better Nicks got better Nicks got better yes sir yo Nicks Philly got better so far yeah um Orlando were not budging so Paul wining got it just not with them but this brings us to the next question did the Clippers make the right decision picking kawhai over PG looking at it now no but it’s hard this is more I mean as both players are right there with each other right I mean right if we say Kawai has Paul George Edge by a little there just something he does a little bit better than Paul but when it comes to just the medical itself for the next three years who you thought was going to be more reliable right you know one has a ACL you know and a sty right and that that should have been taken in consideration right if I got to pay one which one I’m going to get the more value out of right even though with Kawai being hurt he still made all NBA and right it’s is that all NBA was it 60 how many games he play quite like 68 or something like that 68 I think one played 68 one played 72 was it 72 more uh and uh PG played 74 and from there just I mean that’s when they supposed to be crunching that’s where the crunching numbers come from right so I think I think they felt I think in hindsight they felt if they can get they knew Kawai would take a deal right they knew he’ll take a deal with his injuries and stuff he gonna take his deal and I think they thought that Paul George being from here being home being comfortable now get him for the same deal like oh yeah you know he made all NBA so you got to be a little under this and he was like nah that’s not how my algorithm works not at all I’m man know I ain’t been the most healthiest like said like the medical like I I ain’t been the most healthiest but I’m healthy I’m more healthier than him n be over there much so how much of impacted kawhai missing you know substantial time in that first round playoff series against the mad have to do with the decision I feels like if they would have made a run this year maybe GG be more inclined to take that three-year deal but now what after what I’ve seen five years and he’s not excused for me either he’s been injured as well but y’all prioritize kawhai and not a bad decision I don’t think but y’all want me to take the same deal as him I was available this year played more games played in the postseason and I have other teams out there that have much brighter Futures than when we got over here moving into the in Dome with their 1100 bathrooms yeah yeah I think they just they was playing they was playing chess man you know they it’s a decision that they thought that they could make because if they were both if they was both free agents right now negotiating potential to lose both of them they could they could lose both or for damn show it was going to be more expensive because if they waited till Kawai signed and made all NBA his deal would have been different too yep so and you pointed that out when it happen they was both free agents right now um they could have lost both of them if one stayed one is staying for a higher number than what it is now so for the Clippers it was a smart thing by giving him that deal just Paul George didn’t fall for the oky dog that’s all and you can’t put four La guys on a team it’s like trying to get La hoopers all to come together to do anything it’s never going to happen it’s just you’re never going to get the full thing like I think four La hoopers on the same team was just nasty but but does PG being from Palmdale kawhai being from Riverside okay did it all it all Clump together Westbrook signed yeah so Westbrook opted in but they’re apparently looking for trade opportunities the nuggets have kind of emerged as cuz I mean you had four you had four free agents right so you was probably going into this like all right four for four would be great for us if we can somehow three for four see more realistic that’s more realistic I don’t I don’t think they were thinking two for four no you know I don’t think they were think especially when I’m saying two for four is because if Westbrook is op the in and you’re going to trade them so I mean it feels like it was always going to be three for four even if they went four for four Westbrook was probably still going to be that OD man out and they were going to be looking he was the cheapest one I know that’s the crazy part about it it was like a $4 million contract but and he opted into 4 million yeah what stay home just stay home I mean right now the way the way it’s playing out the way it’s playing out right now [ __ ] he if he was actually a free agent right now there’s some teams that need help yes seriously I’m the Bucks the one he could have got more money he could got got deal somewhere else definely got more than 4 million yeah that’s for damn sure if nothing El he definitely could have got more than defin would have got a two year for sure two year yeah hell yeah so in Detroit they just gave Tobias 50 yeah two for 52 he yeah shout out Tobias Harris still got that door open on that truck still at the bank door
