Thank you! I mean all the disrespect… yes, ALL of it to THJ. Klay is a massive upgrade overall, significantly better on defense and far more consistent in offense with better off ball movement. Locker room chemistry might be about the same but the fact the Ky was instrumental in getting him here says all I need to know about his respect for him. Say we are a net – by a little on worst case scenario from Green + DJJ to Marshall + Grimes, the Klay > THJ is going to make up for that significantly.

I agree with JVG’s point that advanced stats don’t do a great job of measuring defense.
But I also think his ultra deterministic view “Klay is great therefore he deserves to be an all star” is double digit IQ territory.
Question at hand was who were your top 6 guards, and was Klay really ahead of Dame. That’s an extremely fair debate for the season in question.
