Suns Have BIG PLANS For Bol Bol..
I’m normally pretty hard on James Jones The Sons GM I don’t feel like he’s done a great job over the totality of his time in Phoenix made some good moves but normally not a great drafter don’t think he values the right things lately he’s been on a brilliant streak he did a great job in the draft considering the lack of assets the Suns had and with NBA free agency hours away he made another solid decision for Phoenix really a decision that had to be made finally finally someone in a front office position of power has shown bub a tiny modom of respect as the Suns have now resigned him for one year but the Suns now have his bird rights even though the new CBA is rough on Phoenix right now they’ll be able to sign him no matter what the cost the same way that they were able to do it with Royce O’Neal earlier this week but no the Nuggets treated bull bull like he was worthless and understand he hasn’t made any coaches really fall in love with him yet but Orlando seemed like a nice place for him to develop then they tossed him away I’m just glad that at least temporarily it seems like bull bu has found his footing and his place in the NBA I really think he’s earned it I have no love lost for Frank vogle but considering bull couldn’t get rotational minutes in Mike Malone’s obviously great system and he couldn’t hang around in Orlando I’m trying my best not not to place responsibility solely on them for Bub’s failures but rather on he himself but Frank vogle was basically blind when it came to rotations time and time again B proved that he belonged in the rotation and Frank would just look for any opportunity to pull him and keep him on the bench God forbid he wasn’t in the right place at the right time on defense a play or two here or there while he was you know figuring out how to play on a completely new team and a completely new system there was one specifically memorable play where the suns were just getting ran off the floor can’t remember who it was verse but B made a mistake on defense Frank calls a timeout and just rips him a new a-hole and we pretty much didn’t see him again all season not for any serious minutes vogle and bullbull were not a good match together but all signs are pointing towards that not being the case with Coach Mike buen Holzer it’s large suspected that due to his success winning a title with a stretch five in Brook Lopez that coach Bud will want and require another shooting center that doesn’t seem to be in the cards for Phoenix right now at least they didn’t come away with any of them in the draft if they don’t get a stretch big in free agency it’s very possible we could see bullbull return to a backup center rle one of the things vogle did that was wise he played blll at the three and the four instead of playing him at s Center and really that does seem like his best role but with the spacing of Bud’s offense and the sheer volume of Threes that we’re expecting to see going up we might need to take another look at what bull can do at the five his shooting from three absolutely is good enough to play a stress rooll I don’t think a lot of people know that bubo shot a little over 42% from three last season it’s just the defensive side of the ball that’s the question mark bottom line bubo is still too skinny and lightweight play center in the NBA we’ve all seen him get slid around like he’s wearing ice skates in the paint and I don’t want to hear that he can’t gain some weight I’m not talking 50 lbs I’m talking 15 to 25 at most look at the recent body transformation of Victor wanyama between getting drafted and now he’s put on 15 PBS of muscle bullbull is a few years older than him so he has no excuse start feeding this man a surplus of calories and get them on some creatine and a lifting routine this is not rocket science or get them on the lalco juice I really don’t care it would actually be worth a 25 game suspension tell me what you think in the comments is bullbull about to have his first real breakout season

Bol Bol is from I believe the dinka tribe in South Sudan. They are all built like that. I don’t believe he can actually gain much more I mean it’s his genetics you seen his dad and any of his relatives all of them are chopsticks I think his only option is to find some way to work around it
For sure he is getting a bigger role then last year
Give Bol the keys like Wemby and his offensive numbers would be better…the defense tho maybe a couple blocks a game but still needs to get better and seems that's whats holding him back at this point.

Why is the stigma that James Jones can't draft? He hasn't exactly had a ton of picks to make but Cam Johnson was a pretty good pick and maybe too early to tell but Camara might be solid too (Although with the wrong team)
What coaches fail to see, Bol Bol is built for a run and gun offense
The reason why bol bol wasn’t played as much was just cuz he can’t screen or box out well. He just doesn’t have the girth to set a solid screen or hold down the paint as compared to Eubanks and Nurkic. Cuz of that his role in the roster became very limited.

I dont see how you dislike james jones seeing that he was the GM that drafted Mikal, JJ, Ayton and secured CP3 who helped us make the finals. Everything happening last yr was really ishbia decision and not james jones. Jones has done a great job with his tenure we have the winngest % under him since the steve nash days.

Bol is absolutely better than what he has even shown. There is no doubt in my mind he was underutilized with Vogel, and I really hope Coach B doesn't make that same mistake! I also agree with you, he needs to bulk some and take the idea of lifting in conjunction with living on the practice court as the new norm if he really wants to move to the next level. I do agree he is probably best at the 4 but I sure hope that we see so much more lineup rotations this year as that was one of my biggest gripes about Vogel! There were times when the Suns had a 20-25pt lead in a game and instead of pulling the starters and letting the bench play and get good reg season minutes, Frank kept the stars on the court… I don't understand that mentality

Wrong jones is a great gm. Hes done wonders since coming it was the idiot before him Ryan McDonough. Jones got us to the finals with a horrible owner who never wanted to spend. The beal trade was not him that was are new owner trying to make a name for himself. Also putting on weight for guys like this isnt that simple and he still is working out look at kd his carrer has been jist fine for a guy who couldnt bench at the combine. Basketball players are about strenthing the legaments and plyometrics staying mobile and light on the feet.
With all the uncertainty and changes around this time of year this has been a refreshing watch. Soo keen to see Bol develop and kick some more a$$ maybe ISO a few supermax players and swat to the grandstand
I wonder if that interaction between Bol Bol and Coach Vogel made KD upset and time out Vogel. Allegedly KD stop talking and listening to Vogel towards the end of the season. I’ve heard KD likes Bol Bol and has taken him under his wing.
He should be KD backup. Same type of player.
