Mannix: At his JT Elite camp in Vegas, Jayson Tatum told @SInow he was “shocked” to learn of Wyc Grousbeck’s intentions to sell his stake in the Celtics. As to the next owner, Tatum says he “hopes the foundation and structure doesn’t change … what we built what we have, it’s a great thing.

  1. I hope that Pags wins the bidding process and becomes the next majority owner/governor when it’s all done

If the players care as much about a Dynasty as we do, they’re going to have to take paycuts at some point and real ones. Tatum didn’t need a super max contract based on what he gets in endorsements. The endorsements he gets from winning multiple championships would more than push out his paycut, but obviously, it’s a risk.

I keep saying it but the first domino is probably going to be Porzingis and not getting an extra contract, especially if he can’t stay healthy.

Most of our players are of the age where if healthy, they could play together for just shy of a decade, with only Holiday and Horford on the lower end of that, but Tatum, Brown, Porzingis, and White? They could all play together for the rest of their careers if they wanted. Could be a really special group for a very long time.

Can I ask a dumb question? Does this mean the team could be moved? I know it won’t …. Be hard to find a bigger basketball city but hypothetically does it mean they could be moved? Let’s say Bezos buys the team and then moves them to Seattle….. Could that happen ?
