Laker fans It’s Time to Get Hype because LeBron James is back yes sir big braon free agent LeBron James has agreed to a 2-year 104 million maximum deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers sources tell ESPN deal includes player option and no trade clause James joins Phoenix’s Bradley Beal as one of the two league players with a no trade clause I believe that’s actually false cuz I read somewhere that Luke cornette actually has a no trade clause and Mike Conley I believe has one as well but yeah man LeBron James committed to the Los Angeles Lakers really for a year because he does have a player option on that second year committed to the Los Angeles Lakers for another year and this is uh per Bobby Marx as well after LeBron James signed this maximum because there were rumors about LeBron James taking a pay cut for better roster flexibility LeBron James was done waiting and post LeBron James signing the Lakers are slightly above the 188.000 million second apron so after the Fantastic off season that the Los Angeles Lakers have had they are now above the second apron which has been a very big talking point amongst you know NBA circles this off season because it kicks I believe this season and how much that really restricts your front office and um yeah this is what the Lakers are looking like starting five um DLo Austin Reeves LeBron James ruy and AD some familiar faces for my Los Angeles Laker fans um as far as their bench we got Gabe Vincent we got bronnie [Music] James big Bonnie the biggest bronnie um dton kette jayen hush aino Max Christie Maxwell Lewis cam redish cam R Jay vand Jackson Hayes and Christian Wood I got to stop trolling bro I got I got to I got to stop trolling bro they can trade a maximum of two first round draft picks I believe 2029 and 20 31 can also trade 2030 but not combined with the other two they got some swaps in 26 28 29 30 and 31 and they got some uh 1 second available uh actually they might have four I I don’t necessarily know what this means um exception second round of Veteran minimum I think uh the Los Angeles Lakers arguably baring they don’t make any moves I I believe the only move that I’ve really been hearing is DLo being shipped somewhere uh um yeah they’re one of the biggest losers of this off season in 2024 the only team that can get away with reigning everyone else and not really making any big time moves not even big time moves just not making any moves um in their rotation not adding rotational pieces is the Boston Celtics that’s it that’s it they’re the only one that you can give the benefit of the doubt to because of the fact that they just won a championship um and you can even argue that even though they won a championship there’s still room to improve internally um you know JT and JB just playing better next season KP getting healthier Xavier Tillman being more accustomed into the rotation like all of these things Payton pressure may get better all of these things they are the only team and they brought back everyone else like literally down to Luke cornette the only dude we are literally waiting on right now is OA brassette they are bringing back everyone else and that is really the only team that should do that and I would even say the Boston Celtics didn’t win a championship this past season them resigning everyone back would look crazy but in 2024 with the amount of player of movement available and maybe this is what’s going to change um you know with the second apron with the amount of free agents available this off season as well with the player movement going on in the league now with so many this is the the most talented League y’ there there’s so many uh players in my opinion that are just lost somewhere waiting to be found waiting to be fit in a role uh that best suits their play style waiting to be signed by a team that has a good developmental staff they’re just out there and for the Los Angeles Lakers to not make a move whatsoever so far I outside of adding bronny James and I do like dson connect so I’ll give them that they are relying a lot on JJ reck to do some magic I’m sorry maybe just in in their front office they really have like full confidence that the only thing holding them back last season was not facing the Denver Nuggets and you know Jared Vanderbilt being healthy and a better Coach but my goodness that is a lot of faith in this team because what I see with this team is is a team that still Lacks point of attack Defenders like the perimeter defenders in that starting line right now is DLo Austin Reeves and LeBron and if we’re about to rely on 40-Year-Old LeBron James to be our best perimeter Defender we are doing something wrong as an organization we just are and I understand they got Jared vanderbild Off the Bench um but even if you bring Jared vanderbild into the starting lineup That Then adds a different problem which is spacing which is spacing uh uh Jared Vanderbilt is not a good offensive player great defensive player but uh he is definitely a one-sided basketball player but yeah the Los Angeles Lakers and shout out to my guy my friend TSO Sage for tweeting this out this is the most lost Angeles Laker uh off seon ever W pay cut again this is the most worth the Lakers off season ever by the way before y’all start I don’t have an issue with LeBron as a Laker but this just gets added to a long list of the Lakers doing SL having the most Lakers [ __ ] going on this offseason what he means by that y’all don’t know what I mean when I say Laker moves hype be [ __ ] like signing two six-man of the Year candidates trading for Russ hiring JJ who did a P with LeBron drafting Brony chasing clay giving Braun a Max and a old trade clause are the word of Lakers moves that held up uh back for held up back for four to five years Reeves is Untouchable seeking dear and I bet my life now we want Zack LaVine [ __ ] just getting old man and um I can’t lie I agree I agree I think the Los Angeles Lakers have been stuck behind the wheel I think the Los Angeles Lakers have a little bit too much confidence in Lebron and AD as long as we got LeBron and AD we got a chance right now and um even the JJ reick signing like if that’s really what they’re banking on is for JJ re to just shake [ __ ] up that’s what I said that’s why I said in the beginning that JJ reic being signed by this team is a setup for JJ reck’s failure the uh let me let me reemphasize this is a guy who has minimal head coaching experience especially at the NBA level being signed by the Los Angeles Lakers of all franchises not only the Los Angeles Lakers but the Los Angeles Lakers not in a rebuilding phase but the Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron and AD and now we can even add the caveat that this is an off seon where they’ve barely made any moves they’re bringing everyone back and all the onus is now is on JJ reck to make [ __ ] work truth be told the signing doesn’t really surprise me you know I expected LeBron James to resign especially after they drafted Brony I don’t think Brony was being drafted by the Lakers and then LeBron just dips even though that would have been a crazy storyline and a you know crazy turn of events um you know I didn’t expect anything else what I did not expect though was just the lack of moves from the Los Angeles Lakers this is a team that did not make any moves at the trade deadline when everyone wanted them to make moves at the trade deadline and then we get into the playoffs and the guys that they relied on the guys that they thought all right we’re in the these are our guys uh D’Angelo Russell did not show up uh Jared Vanderbilt was was injured Gabe Vincent was injured throughout the whole last season so again if if they really think they may just have crazy confidence in the fact that the really the missing piece is dson kette uh gab Vincent coming back and Jared Vandable and just a new coach you know so maybe that’s the plan and I understand this video is about the Lakers but I just really wanted to get off this this point of if in 2024 specifically this off season you aren’t the Celtics and you aren’t making any moves you are the Biggest Losers of this off season you you are so I’m talking to the Lakers I’m talking to the Miami Heats as of right now I’m talking to the Milwaukee Bucks I’m talking to the Denver Nuggets y’all are losing right now cuz while everyone else is having an arms race in the par era some of y’all are being stagnant without a chip or getting worse year by year and Denver I understand listen Denver was great last season but last season they lost Bruce Brown this off season they lost kcp they already had a best problem in their championship year that rotation needs to be stronger and I don’t think these are needle movers but even the Warriors who just a couple days ago was in this discussion of yo this team got to make a move at least they signed Kyle Anderson at least apparently they are very close to requiring buty healed after losing Klay Thompson for me LeBron James resigning the way that he did screams all right this rosters mostly finalized uh this team is unserious this team is not going to do much to move the needle so uh why take a $20 million pay cut or however much the pickup was going to be if um you know they’re not going to do anything with it so let me play out the rest of my career with the Los Angeles Lakers let me play in LA let me give it one last Harrah in the 2024 2025 season and then 2025 2026 will be my farewell tour I think think that is what
