DeMar DeRozan Running Out Of Options In Free Agency

DeMar DeRozan Running Out Of Options In Free Agency

free agency is a time of New Hope for a lot of teams and players around the NBA it could also be a time for heartbreak and that’s where it seems like it’s going for DeMar rosen me and Pat are going to talk a little bit about the updated situation with Demar Rosen in free agency plus there’s reported the relationship that uh between Zack LaVine and the Bulls front office is shattered talk a little bit about that and the futures of both Nicola vich and Lonzo ball we’re gonna get to all that in more on today’s locked on bulls [Music] you are locked on bulls your daily Chicago Bulls podcast part of the locked on podcast Network your team every day thank you for tuning in to locked on bulls member of the lockon podcast Network where it’s your team every single day that’s Pat the designer host and creator of the windy city Breeze and host of the Chicago Bears podcast over at ESPN 1000 I’m hayo creator of Chicago Bull Central Chicago Bears Central pages and podcast and uh yeah today’s episode was brought to you guys by Game Time download the game time app Crea an account and use code locked on NBA for $20 off your first purchase terms do apply Pat talk about terms apply the terms that apply to Demar rosen’s free agency status is we won’t pay you what you want Demar Ros I think and it’s funny right because demard Rosen this is the same exact place that demard Rosen was in before the Bulls signed him the only difference is is that the Bulls were desperate to play put a playoff team together so they overpaid where where they overpaid than what the market was for him at that time of course he’s coming to the Chicago Bulls he’s broken Wilt records he’s helped us win Games been the king of the fourth I’m sure him and his agent thought we’re going to get paid one way or another if we go out in free agency and what we’re finding now is that we’re it’s just at this point teams have run out of money teams have fill their their most of their their roster spots he’s now looking at maybe getting a little slightly over the mid-level exception but that’s if the Bulls work out a sign a trade the Bulls are hard cap they can only take back a little under4 million in salary cap back so a third team would have to get involved to get demorrow anything over that this free agency period may get or should probably get de Mar rosen’s agent fire that’s what I would say it’s it’s tough because right like you you this isn’t like before it was Demars over the hill dear’s done Let It Go like we we’re not resigning and then Demar proved that he wasn’t done and that the Bulls had him signed to a phenomenal contract and that things you know were were going to be a little bit better than most people thought in that and I think that’s still a part of this but the tough part here is that it’s literally now it has nothing to do with dear it has nothing to do with the play of Demar it has nothing to do with how good or not good Demar de rozan is teams are scared of that second April no I I got to disagree with you it does have something to do with how good dear is well in the sense of how he can impact the team Demar is a very specific player and what we’ve seen prioritize is two-way players if Zar de rozen even without shooting threes played defense he would have been signed I think teams so it does have something to do with dear not to say that dear’s a a bad player but I think it does absolutely have something to do with how Demars not it’s not that teams don’t want them it’s just that the teams that want them are like bro we don’t have the money to bring you into this team I mean you can say that about just about anybody has some type of Market is the money plays A Part that yeah so yeah I mean that does play a part I think that I think a team like the Lakers if they had the room to pay him more than 13 million they would like I think if they had the room to go out and say Demar we want to get you in here 20 mil a year it may not be the money that he wants to get but like hey we get you in here 20 mil a year for the next two years boom let’s do it right like I think if there was more money available to him I think you’re seeing now more teams are sitting here looking at this like okay we’re willing to bring you in but what does it mean for the long term of this team you got to win right and if you don’t win right now we sign you to a long-term deal which I would assume dear’s looking for probably two to three years on a contract here um gonna be a little over the mid level he’s probably gonna be willing to take that one year to get back in free agent well that’s the that’s the thing right with with how W basically said it he he’s basically at a point where he’s got to take a one-year deal unless some magical signing trade happens and so like to me like I I do think that it is it’s it’s more teams looking at Demar and saying like we just can’t commit longterm money but I don’t think we’re seeing that with a lot of people out here right like I think there’s a lot of players who who teams are looking at and going yeah I like you like even most most of the Bulls players like I like you but I don’t want you for this Le this level of time because you’re already on this contract and I think that may be the trouble with where demard de Rosen comes in but the weird part about this is right and looking at it from a bull’s perspective you hate to say it this way but is the blessing in disguise for the Bulls we’ve seen so many of these contracts work out poorly for the Bulls where it’s like somebody got hurt or they just did live up to what you expected him to be when you look at V when you look at Lonzo you look at Zack LaVine this is the first time in a few years where we’ve seen the Chicago Bulls reportedly and it seems like it could be the case offer dear a two-year deal uh for 80 million he turns it down and this works out in the favor because the only way that anything gets done where Demar gets over that mid-level exception is if the Bulls get assets back yeah yeah that’s the only way this works and and we talked about it when the Bulls signed Jaylen Smith like literally that was them saying Hey listen we not worried about helping dear unless it completely benefits us they harda themselves at a time where they didn’t necessarily have to hard cap themselves right away then but they did and they made the right decision for their franchise ultimately I’m glad to hear that the Bulls are open to work out a sign trade but guess what the Bulls aren’t incentivized because this team’s going younger and it seems like they don’t care if they lose a few more games next season which it’s cool so it the situation of Demar is a cautionary tale between you you have to know how to read your Market you have to and unfortunately dear may be sitting in the situation and keep in mind if he’s traded in a sign and trade it has to be a three-year deal now the last two years can be non- guaranteed but it at least has to be a three-year deal so like yeah bro it sucks and like I dear was 17th in the NBA in scoring in no way am I trying to say Demar de Rosen is a terrible player because he’s not Demar still he’s a very specific player but he he is still a very productive player on top of all of that and people have started comparing this to like is this like a Mello situation I think people kind of I was just gonna say that yeah I mean it’s very similar right like and I I I he’s older than Melo was at that time as well but I also think that um there’s no way I just don’t see Demar going away for a year so like he’s gonna have to figure it out bro like him and his agent got to be on the phone with every team in the NBA right now yeah it it’s it’s so interesting like when you look at this the the situation because it’s just like either DeMar comes down on on his side where how much money he wants or he walks away from the game I don’t see him walking away from the game I think he is like w said I think he is going to have to take a one-year deal we had got the report from Chris Haynes that he had no interest in taking a $13 million mid-level exception deal I wonder if we see demard de R Roan signed with one of the teams who maybe have a little bit more money on the books but maybe the Outlook is a little bit lower than just the championship for this one year and he tries to get I don’t know if he tried if it’s about him trying to get his value back up but I do wonder if right you try and get the money now maybe you sign with a team like Orlando or freaking even though they just signed uh uh uh who they just sign kcp um but if you take a a team uh the money from a team that maybe a little bit lower on the totem pole will compete in the playoffs maybe you feel like Demar is one who can get you to a higher level in the playoffs like and then come back next year or do you just take the midlevel exception and go for the ring now like it’s a it’s a weird situation that he’s in and I do think like a lot of teams are just looking and saying we’re not committing long-term money to guys who are 34 years old right now yeah I mean it sucks because there’s not there’s not a whole heck of a lot of money out there for him there are some teams that can theoretically sign him outright but those teams make no sense for DeMar rosen when you look at it right now the Utah Jazz $37 million in cap space makes no sense for for them right now they too far out of it and they’re trying to move L apparently Orlando Magic $23 million in cap space Maybe I guess it it makes sense they’re a playoff team Demar would make them better um yeah but do they have do they have a spot because like I don’t think dear’s going to accept coming off the bench unless it’s for a true Championship contend then maybe even then I think he’s going to try to start they just signed casy P they got all the wings in the world down there where is he going to play at what would that lineup be right now who’s whose point down there is it is is it um sugs I think is sugs the point sugs or is it co they got so many point guards down there too bro I have no idea Apollo benero fron Vagner Wendell Carter is kyp like would kyp come off the bench is casy six man they also they also resigned Gary Harris so they like their wings right now Casey Gary Harris France Wagner Jonathan is as well listen listen let’s not pretend that or Orlando is not willing to go to war with 19 Wings on the T like I mean they’ve had 19 point guards for the last five years so I mean I guess now going to 19 wings but then other than that Detroit centers on that team as well Detroit with $26 million that doesn’t fit Pro probably what he wants and and this and the the Spurs with $15 million in cap space bro what if he says what if he’s like Tobias Harris is basically just Zack LaVine let me go do a freaking Detroit stint I got Kade Cunningham I got Tobias Harris Ros somebody said I gotta find the Tweet they said Zack LaVine is the Michael Jordan of Tobias Harrison I saw that I saw that took me out bro I was like wait a second wait no that’s exactly how that’s how J describes all players that’s how Jo describes every player ever bro zachie is the is the Tim Duncan of freaking Matas buus bro that’s crazy man but listen prayers up to Demar R Ro and hopefully he finds the spot and hopefully the Bulls find a way to to benefit from it as well because listen that’s my team I do want them to benefit from it but next up we’re going to be talking about Zack LaVine and the apparent time we live in brother so this one came out from Joe C yesterday that apparently the relationship between the front office the Bulls front office and Zack LaVine is shattered even go so as to mentioning that the front office views it as the worst case scenario if Zack LaVine is on the roster by opening day but did admit that it is a high probability at this point that Zack LaVine could be on that opening day roster how do you feel about the shattered relationship between Zack LaVine and the front office I mean I think we knew that there was a there was a problem I mean and listen when when a player tells you you know that I don’t want to be here and you tell the player well we don’t want you here what’s the what do you expect you know what I mean like that’s really what it comes down to and I think what’s what’s the reason that I I viewed the Zack LaVine contract the way that I had is because I remember when he signed it I I was hearing from people around the organization that this was not a signing that everybody was in on that this was not a signing that everybody wanted to see the Chicago Bulls make inside the organization but they felt that you had to to kind of revamp some of the image of the Chicago Bulls I don’t know if you’ve done that successfully I guess we’ll see with things moving forward if anything players can definitely say the Bulls uh gave Zack LaVine what they felt he was worth and he got more maybe even than than what he was worth but the the biggest part of this is that to me when you look at the the future of this team I believe that saying worst case scenarios that he’s on the roster right now is is absolutely true because you may have to salvage a shattered relationship and basically C to him and say Hey listen my guy like you’re you’re gonna be here for at least the foreseeable future right now would you rather be here and lose or be here and win and that’s not a position that you want to be in starting your season off that’s not a spot that’s ideal when you’re sitting here saying now go play nice with others eventually you’re going to right you’re going to fracture relationships people in the locker room are not going to be happy with you because you’re at odds with the front off like we know how this all goes we’ve seen this play out before time and time again in the NBA and Sports in general and I just think that this this moving forward is something that has to be separating if you get to a point where you know you have to bring Zack LaVine back you’re you’re looking down the barrel of of worst case scenario yeah I mean I think but the the concern is and I understand where you’re coming from the concern is of course is is that not what we kind of saw from Zack LaVine trying to do is just fit in after he initially returned from injury before he went down permanently and that was a mixed bag of results now he never really got to get all the way back in Rhythm but um I mean there’s some questions about this now he was facilitating well he was even rebounding well and then in a couple of games where he scored well I think we actually won those games like so I think those are the games we lost those are the games we lost I don’t in the Detroit game in there where he put up 50 and lost oh you’re absolutely right you’re absolutely right um yeah I don’t know bro it’s it’s a listen the the LaVine situation has turned into one of the worst situations in basketball because again teams aren’t willing to just bring on money anymore the the new NBA CBA has changed everything about this league I think if we were in the old CBA teams would be like sure we’ll take Zack LaVine yeah the money whatever we can dump the money we can figure out what we can do with the money like we’ll figure that part out but we got a score on our team and we got the room to do so teams aren’t sitting there trying to hardap themselves anymore to take on players that they don’t feel are going to help their future and I think I said this the entire time when we heard all of these rumors about Zack LaVine not having a market Zack LaVine having tough uh uh um not having uh uh any trade appeal the Bulls possibly having to include first round draft Capital along with a pick or along with Zack LaVine for him to be moved right like this is an indictment of Zack LaVine and and and what his career has been he’s he’s the losingest player in the NBA and and yes I understand there are reasons for that I know they could because they’re about to attack you there are reason listen there there are reasons for it but at a certain point you would think you impact winning in some sort of way I’ve seen Bradley Beal impact winning when he was by himself it was it wasn’t great it was basically the same spot but there was an impact to winning like we’ve seen those players where it’s like listen like we suck but I’m good and the team has some success off of that yeah and we just we haven’t seen that with Zack LaVine I’m not even saying like you got to make the playoffs but I don’t know if we’ve seen right like just just the Bulls team like we we talked about Zack LaVine he’s won four games twice four games in a row twice in his entire career I believe like that’s that’s just a lot that’s a lot of losing do you think that as new deals are signed in the NBA like we’ve seen 11 players this offseason sign deals over $ hundred million half of those almost are over 200 million and then there’s one that was over 300 million shout out to Jason taton for the longest largest contract in NBA history do you think that if we St it’s crazy do you think as we start the season as we go through the season that maybe teams look at that from Zack LaVine and say you know what that contract isn’t actually as bad because next off it’s just going to keep Rising next off season is going to be even more100 million contracts do you think that that may be the best play for the Bulls here and for Zack LaVine for that matter if they want to find a long-term home it’s just maybe maybe just packing it up maybe waiting till the end of this week in free agency and then just saying he Zach we’ll see you in training camp I don’t think this has a lot to do with the contract okay I think people I think it has more to do with the player okay because like 40 million yes it’s crazy the Zack LaVine is getting 40 million except when he’s on the court and he’s giving you 25 five and five like let’s not pretend like like he can play he can play basketball and so I don’t think that the contract is the problem here it may be the problem as far as you know certain teams that just don’t have the money to go out there and do that right now but it’s a 255 and five player on the market this is literally somebody that impacts scoring on a team and teams are looking at him and saying we’re good teams who need scoring help are looking at him and saying we’re good the Warriors literally just lost Klay Thompson although I mean I don’t know about phenomenal scoring hell but 18 points game I was was 18 points a game still on over 40% shooting from the field and from almost 50% shooting from the field and from three he’s solid he’s not playing anymore he you know what the Warriors said nah you mean one of the best catch and shoot players in the league nah like that says more about the player to me than it does about the money yeah especially when you look at something like Bradley you would say Bradley Bill and Zack LaVine are similar players right similar players yeah I mean Bradley Bill was move like that that’s the question like because if for people saying mov if people are saying it’s the contract then yeah I’m looking at it like well hell Bradley bills move there’s big just as big of questions of how much he contributes to winning the only difference is he was paired with John Wall most his career and they got some stuff done um and he’s hurt more than Zack LaVine is yeah hurt more than Zack LaVine is so it’s like what what it got to be something behind the scenes that we not see behind the scenes gotta be something that we that’s that’s that’s you think especially and clutch Sports is his agency it’s something behind the scenes bro it’s got to be because it it just it makes no sense that you look at a listen he’s still he 20 29 years old 29 years old 29 years old still able to go out there and score the basketball at a high rate like that this has something to do person with with the the the player himself over the contract to me and I I think that that’s that’s clear as day to me now I don’t I don’t know that for sure I think the Zach’s a good person I think his teammates really enjoy him and like him but the player how much I I think the fact that team my biggest thing how much do you impact winning how much do teams look at you and say that guy’s going to go out there and he’s going to win game Zack LaVine just hasn’t done that that’s crazy I mean uh much like we said with demaro rose I mean I hope that Zack finds a resolution to this and that that and maybe that is just staying in Chicago new Young roster that likes to get out and run those are things that well theoretically we’re thinking is going to like to get out and run those things simly fit Zack LaVine you know one thing that we don’t have on this team is three-point shooting you know with players that are right now on the roster and I’m saying this because Zack LaVine technically is a bull right now yeah the only two players on this roster that you look at that can really consistently hit down a three-point shot is maybe is Zack LaVine and maybe earn lot batin Kobe can get hot from three but he’s more of a scorer than the shooter yeah yeah that’s it so maybe maybe P will oh yeah P will yeah you’re right that’s wrong of me to to forget P will being over a 40% three-point shooter Craig actually met his uh he met his percent he did he just didn’t meet the the quote of games played that’s support like me when he was on the floor this guy was great no yeah I solid we’ll see man we’ll see when it’s all said and done what’s still I like to get a temperature check percentage that Zack lven is on the roster opening night as of right now I didn’t expect everybody to say no so I guess I’m at 60% dog like I like I think I I think he may end up being like I think they may have to find a way to salvage this like I said that’s still worst case scenario but but I don’t know like bro I can’t wait for media day when he’s here and he’s just like yeah you know we never had any problems like shut up dog I wonder if they even put him on the podium immedate day bro like gonna have to he’s he’s think about you you only you only have about four players speak on media day this’s look you’re gonna have Mattis billis do there you’re probably gonna have jayen Smith as a new acquisition you’re gonna have Josh Giddy and you can get away with maybe Kobe white or Patrick Williams and just not have Zack talk I’ll say this if you if you have Kobe white speak Zack LaVine should take that as volumes on where he is in the packing order that’s I me white speak at media day Zack LaVine should be like Oh I’m the third guy you are the janetti my wrestling fans will get that uh but all right next up we’re gonna be talking Alonzo ball and Nicola vich future with this Bulls team all right Pat so of course another Lonzo Ball video and more hope that comes for the Chicago Bulls now we did he actually was hooping this time he actually was hooping yeah but he was moving kind of slow against regular people I’m just this just a little bit concerning that like when you’re moving when you’re moving slow against regular like you you shouldn’t be moving slow if you’re playing people the caliber of me and Pat the designer is all I’m saying like you should you should be was D1 dud I’m just talking stuff I’m just being silly got the why like he’s an export you think he was an export doing that video Uncle June in the corner let me get that money let me fire that up real quick that’s nuts turns out he was playing against Javonte Green’s cousins you know just you know you know um but with that said Brody um we’ we’ve heard earlier that the Bulls were looking to dump the contract to Lonzo Ball but he’s he’s back playing um and and seemingly everything that we’ve heard and seen has all been promising it has been promising me and you hold pessimism because we’ve heard it all before but objectively it’s been promising cleared five on five our said he’s he he’s projected to be ready to go by starting training camp do you think that Lonzo Ball’s future still is with the Chicago Bulls as far as the media I still think long-term there’s no way the Chicago Bulls are signing him to a long-term contract unless it’s at like a vet minimum I think after the season but you think that this season Lonzo Ball’s a bull for the for the majority of the season I mean who’s taking the contract who needs to who needs to get rid of money like what team is is out there that’s like not we not we not only don’t want to compete this year but we also want to get rid of money on the books Charlotte maybe like I I just I don’t see and I I don’t think Charlotte doesn’t want to compete I that’s the problem they want to compete they just don’t know how like they’re just not healthy enough that’s all it is like when the best player on your team and and the best player is lamelo ball when the best player on your team is hurt just as much as his brother like why would I trade for that yeah so I I just I don’t know that that you have a way to move the Lonzo ball contract I know the Bulls want to but I don’t know if there’s a way to do it um so I do think that he’ll be on the team I think that he’ll play this season I think that they’ll be you know if he’s able to stay healthy that’s fine but I think that that also comes with you knowing at the end of the year hey dog if you want to stay I got a million dollars for you where you want to go well his vet minimum will be 2.8 but yeah hey dog if you want to stay I got 2.8 million I would I would keep Lin on $2.8 million I’d keep Lin on 2.8 as well he’s better than Javon Carter you know I mean so like I I think that that is a and listen you’re back to being a backup yeah it’s not it’s not your keys like you’re not getting the keys to the kingdom again but if I’m if you’re telling me I got somebody to back up Josh get who basically has the same offensive skill set as Josh gidy make threes I don’t know what freaking uh and can make threes uh but but I don’t know what freaking how he’s gonna come back defensively can you still guard one through five because I tell you what when Klay came back off of his multiple knee injuries he couldn’t like he could for like that first that first eight months and then the he was like Hey man we we we had a reunion tour it’s it it we’re done hey I don’t know I watched clay get tours a lot that like they kept putting them on people bro and I was like well y’all hey look he can still shoot that’s all know the first year you’re right I think the second year after injury did look initially like hey clay may get back to the defender and that that came crashing down very shortly after that clay clay but it was fine he’s a shooter like it’s fine put somebody else on him to play defense you got Andrew Wiggins but it was a while there early on where they was like Kay you got Bri I was like y’all shouldn’t do that it’s not a good it’s not a good look yeah yeah I agree I agree what do you feel about Nicola vich so the last report that came out yesterday was that which I don’t understand because it said that well if the if dear doesn’t return the Bulls could look to move uh to move Nicola vich we dear isn’t returning like there’s it can’t happen unless dear’s willing to take a huge pay cut is Vu and dear’s relationship that close that they’re like like I know he’s here because of dear or he’s here because of V I should say yeah but like are they that close that like I don’t think it’s necessarily saying that a personality wise like Vu wants the go Demar is not going to be here I think it’s more of a hey if we get rid of the 35y old we might as well get rid of the old Center as well like let’s just here’s the thing I’m fine with moving on from v i 100% am but when you talk about now the team that you’re trying to bring in and the dynamic you’re trying to add if you can work out some minutes with Vu where it’s like okay you’re here you gonna get this amount of rest and we’re going to get the young guys in there when we need to get out and run right at the end of games you probably not going to be up in there no more but you still get to hear your name called in the starting lineup like 18 and and 11 ain’t nothing to scoff at exactly and I think that not only that the defensive rebound and help the team get out and transition more his passing in the half court and I also think that he could be if demard Rosen is not here he can be a more effective player because then he gets his space back yeah that he likes to operate in so I I don’t think it’s the worst case scenario vot is still on this roster next season I do think they want to go straight young though yeah I do oh I agree with that I I think ideally they would love to but I think that it’s they they may look at and say it’s not the worst thing plus he’ll be an expiring contract in then the next season maybe then you can go ahead and move him especially if he still has a produ if Vu has a productive year on a younger team and maybe it maybe it’s a trade deadline thing too if he has a productive half quarter of a little over twoth thirds of the Season through uh playing with those young guys oh that market will be there for V only 20 million I’ll be honest with you I think a v deal I would rather start the season with Vu and move him at the trade deadline because I think V is GNA play himself into some value teams are going to see that and guys are going to go down teams are going to need centers yeah there’s always a and if I can sit there at the trade deadline and say listen we need to make a trade I got a dude that can give you 18 and 11 most teams are gonna sit there and go okay I can I I’ll hear and his contract’s not crazy it’s not difficult for the Bulls to send guys out and take back money on that like I think that works better um they gotta take they got to take Javon Carter with them try sneak Javon Carter under voot shirt go go go go go go dang it he fell out um no but I just I’m I’m not as I do think that it’s time to move on I do think it it’s time to to you know look to trade Vu and try and do all of that but I’m not where with vu vu didn’t stop the progression of the players on the court vu didn’t stop Patrick Williams from getting shots vu didn’t stop Kobe white from turning into to Kobe white he didn’t stop he didn’t stop anything V is just like I just want to like V told you what he wanted to do and Billy Donovan won’t do it that’s V’s problem B was like I want to be in the paint I want to be a post player and the Bulls are like but we got you got to shoot these threes he’s like I don’t want to shoot the threes like why am I shooting threes Billy Dam’s like no you’re going to shoot the threes and the 63 power forward is going to be the one in the paint that’s what we’re doing here what do you mean I feel like V listen listen V has his flaws he’s he’s pick and roll Jesus bro that gift that I sent the other day that was bro like which way do I go which way he has no idea what he’s doing out there in the pick and roll but I think that like Vu gets a tough rap because the Bulls are literally like hey you know that thing we want you want to do you’re not doing that stand out there and be the trailer on these three-point plays it’s like all right do like that’s not what I want to see like just put him in a good position and then every time it cracks yeah every time we put him in the paint all of a sudden we’re surprised when he’s 25 and 15 exactly oh you telling me that in the paint he’s pretty good but I don’t know man uh v v I think will be moved but I I think that there’s probably a better chance that he starts the season with the bulls than not we’ll see we’ll see what 1. Tells you something about the Bulls. Demar, Vooch, and Zach (core pieces from the start of last year) now have no market.

  2. If all these teams are running out of money, that means players are making too much money! Should not have to raise the salary cap, maybe they should put a ceiling on how much players can make.

  3. We don't talk about Dalen Terry enough. He's entering his 3rd yr and it's only a matter of time b4 he puts it all together for a breakout season. Consistency is the key for him. I think he's going to thrive with this young rebuilding Bulls squad.

  4. Remember at press conferences when demar was always asked about his contract and wanting to stay with the bulls he would always deflect to thats my agents job i let the front office and the agent handle it. I bet he wishes he would have made himself more involved now.

  5. Man this locker room is gonna be so awkward. Having a player in the locker room that everyone knows doesn’t want to be there mixed in with new young talent that are just excited to be on a team

  6. I feel like media’s slander on the bulls Gm’s and ownership has made it impossible for Chicago to make trades in this market. Everyone knows Zach wants out why would any team send a legitimate trade package. In a wonderful world we get rid of Zach and send Ball to charlotte for picks and whatever and sign Demar

  7. They forget that 50 point game against Detroit was when nobody was scoring. In that game everybody but Zach was Jevon Carter. After that game he wanted to be traded.

  8. Its the new cba and the penalties at fault plus all the max contracts being handed out that soaked up all the cap the league has!

  9. How Lavine, DeRozen, Vooch value so low? It's that our GM is Not good. Obviously Not Respected. Likely after cheating to get Lonzo and DeRozen. Maybe the Nba GMs froze him out.

  10. Answer is Have Giddey, maybe Ball feed Lavine all day. Give him 40 shots a game 😂. If he looks like old Lavine by the deadline, you get alot 💯. But it stunts Coby to 6th man.

  11. Bulls might Antonio Brown Lavine. He refuses to play for us, we ain't paying him. We had to put him on the Injury list last year cause he refused to play. File for an exemption and Lavine will get a settlement pry of 20mil, which won't count against cap. 🤷🏻 Nobody wants you, We ain't buying you out. We ain't paying picks for someone to take you. If Lonzo coming back, gonna play off the bench. That's your dude. Last year together. And Giddey and him gonna set you up right. Get you 30ppg.

  12. Definitely sucks seeing Demar in this situation. Kinda like Caruso, I wanted to see him go to a competitive team with a chance to get a ring. Not only, though, do you have the issue of so few teams having any cap space this off season, he's just not what most teams are looking for. You want 3-and-D, you want spacing… Demar is a great player but that's not his game. I'm not surprised the Laker situation didn't play out because I don't see how that possibly could have worked. You want to throw Demar in the mix with LeBron, AD, and Austin Reaves? They'd all be running into each other so much it'd look more like bumper cars than basketball.

  13. Lakers could’ve offered 20 just like they did with Klay…but I don’t think that’s being offered

  14. The media tarnished Zach’s career lowkey.

Once the team started 5-14 and then they started winning without him, the media dragged him.

  15. What team doesn't want 3 players that avg 20 pts a game with experience ? The Bulls are crazy. Billy Donovan is the problem he doesn't know what he is doing. If the Bulls second unit is Lonzo Ball, Ayo,Vucevic, DeRozan, and Zach Lavine they kill everybody. Don't trade none of them get a different coach. The Bulls only added one rookie from the draft. Giddy is not a rookie, everybody else has experience. This would be a very young more athletic team. The second unit would destroy any teams bench . Why in the world would you get rid of almost 100 pts off the bench. Do the Bulls want to win or develop?

  16. Has nothing to do with Zach. Klutch wants Zach in Chicago and wants DeMar out. They know that DeMar has stifled Zach's stardom. So they are working behind the scenes to let teams know that Zach will demand a trade if the Bulls trade him. They are forcing the Bulls to get rid of DeMar so Zach can re-take the Chicago market. This new roster fits Zach's playstyle and can optimize him. Now Zach will have a chance to be the max player he was signed to be. Free of that ball hogging whore DeMar

  17. U can be Mr Clutch all season long but the minute u lay an egg 2 years in a row vs Miami in the Play-in game (&this year without Jimmy too) I'd imagine your value sinks like a sack of potatoes being tossed in the deep end of the pool.
