With this roster, we’ll be fighting for play-in spot again.

  2. we have the worst starting defensive backcourt in the league

  3. Theoneandonlylog

7th seed and a first round exit at the hands of the thunder, wolves, Mavs, or nuggets coming up

  4. unearthyone

Swap Rui and Vando and we have great starting 5 that can acutaly play some defense 🙂

  5. Skip_To_My_Lou2

We lost our 3rd best shooter and value 3 and D player in Prince because of cam fucking reddish and Hayes having player options. Unreal

  6. nottherealstanlee

His cap number is high. We’re not going to be in the 2nd apron.

  7. TallanoGoldDigger

At least they fired Ham amirite? People were arguing this team would improve with just firing Ham right?

I’ll keep it real with you. The lakers are going to be ass this year and barely make the play in. Another waste of a season. But at least we get to see first father and son to play

  9. So we have 8 rotation players, and only one backup above 6’7 we can trust…,…….,.

  10. We’re only 7-8 players deep who can maybe contribute. That’s just not gonna get it done. Horrible asset management. We’re basically stuck unless someone nails us out with a trade.

  11. CabbageStockExchange

This team is gonna be fighting hard for that play in spot all year. Will be rough

I know free agency has just started and there’s people on here preaching patience but as it stands, our roster is mid at best and my expectations for this season are low.

  13. AdministrativeDig845

I don’t see it mentioned but apparently the 2nd Apron limitations don’t start until February so we have time to make moves still

  14. I have to be honest, I think we got a bit worse

  15. Vegasguy3124

I’m curious why the threshold is so damn low. MLB has that’s right.

  16. L8night_BootyCall

we gon be alright if we stay injury free

  17. NotSoSerius

Hoping for big growth from Reaves, Rui, JHF and Lewis. Maybe Connect-4 and Bronny can be contributors as rookies. If Vincent, Vando, and Wood can stay healthy, Lakers might have the pieces they need already. Consistency from roster should lead to better chemistry, something they haven’t had in a long time with constantly blowing up the roster. And a new offensive scheme will hopefully make team look a lot different than last year.

For all the doomers. We suffered last season mainly due to injuries and poor rotations. I get it, you’re mad we didn’t make a huge move, but this team, helmed by a fucking masochist is ham, had a HIGHLY competitive series with the nuggets, that honestly we should have won. Christie will take a leap and get actual playing time, Knect has all the tools to play day one, dlo saved our asses almost all season, put some fucking respect on his name, reaves will be reaves. Letting TP go makes the Sf/PF positions much easier to manage and more efficient. Having vando come back healthy is huge. We need a fucking big man, and I feel good with this squad. The clippers and toast, the mavericks will be a question mark until the season. And we can still make a move to shore are weaknesses up. We want to develop our guys, and Max has shown huge upside. I’m amped.

And this is why Penlika can’t do trades or sign more players, we put our money on a team that on paper should be contenders, and just worked the other way and that’s just the way it goes

  20. ValuableAssociate8

Every other team in the league got better. We got worse.

  21. Well at least we can say we will be the first and only team to have a Father-Son to assist and score in a game

  22. Yommination

What a dogshit roster. Fallen so far since the title

  23. motorboat_mcgee

Swap Vando in as the starting 3, slide LeBron to the 4

  24. We ain’t winning any championships anytime soon
