[Keith Smith/Spotrac] Talking to some teams tonight and it sounds like what’s being worked on now is expanding some of the previously agreed upon trades. There are also talks of tying some deals together into bigger deals.Essentially, teams are trying to find ways to make mutually beneficial trades.

DJ Trade is a big candidate to expand as the Pelicans still arent under the cap number they need to be without a center.

The lack of a point guard issue is seemingly solved as far as the front office is concerned, and early in the process too. Unfortunately, the Pelicans are dealing with a luxury tax dilemma depending on how the Murray acquisition plays out.

Could this mean the terms of the trade change and we send over more or acquire more?
Cap to NOP has always been an obvious fit, but I don’t know we’d have to find a 3rd team to eat some $$ between us and NOP. Would be nice if a taker for McCollum or Ingram could be found. Would open up a lot of options, especially if that team was willing to take on as much $$ as possible.
So this means that the Murray trade can expand and we could potentially get more as well,
