They need to give up on a swing for the fences trade waiting. You don’t only improve by getting a star. Go out and find a decent depth guy who can actually help your team without taking all your assets and your cap space. I get that’s easier said than done but they rarely look for these smaller retools since the Iguadola/Crowder trade (Rozier is kind of that but also feels like he kind of wasn’t)
What other options? Lmao I’m curious because DeRozan is the only relevant player available right now. The fact that our FO is struggling to accommodate DeRozan who’s asking price is a little bit below his current market value leads me to believe they got nothing lmao. Like who are they waiting? Malachi Flynn? Dinwiddie? Is that it? Just who? Lmao. No superstar is asking for a trade this summer and even if they do, we don’t have the draft capital to trade for them. lol
