Chauncey Billups BLAMES Larry Brown for Detroit’s ’05 Finals loss |#pistons #nbafinals
the Pistons courageously battled until the very last of the 2005 finals in a classic and underrated seven game slugfest against San Antonio Spurs Detroit fought tooth and nail but lost by inches eventually surrendering their Crown in painful fashion from the perspective of chony bips he and the Pistons would have likely completed their ultimate goal of a championship repeat if only Larry Brown remained committed to his job of leading them to basketball Glory we were really really disappointed in Coach Brown at that time phips confessed one we know papovich and him were best friends this and that we’re trying like hell to beat these guys man we got off to a bad start we’re down 02 we got to beat these guys four out of five times talking about we’re pulling up at shoot rounds and getting off the bus and we hear him negotiating his next deal it had an effect on us man it was disheartening to know that and everything that we knew and believed about lb it took a hit for a little bit

LB = Little Bit..
🗣️I VERY DISAPPOINTED IN CHANCEY BILLUPS . THE PISTONS PLAYERS⏯️ NEED TO STAY F👁️🗨️CUSED ON THE TASK AT HAND . MAKE SURE THAT Y👤U STAY ATTACHED TO ROBERT HORRY . ST🛑P GIVING UP 3 POINTERS . THE SERIES WENT 7 GAMES . THE PISTONS PLAYERS⏯️ , LITERALLY NEEDED TO CLOSE THE SERIES .>🎤 🏀🗑️🤾⛹️
Dude SA were a franchise with Tony Parker reaching his peak (in 2007) and Manu at his best, not to mention TD. You had no chance….they were a good team built over many years unlike the '04 Lakers.
Next Town Brown😊
The pistons should have just paid LB and let him get back to focusing on the finals.
Mean while in Real Life the Spurs had All Stars like Tony Parker , Manu Giniboli , and Tim Duncan On that Spurs Dynasty . The Spurs had more Offensive Firepower and a Better Defense than the 2004 Lakers in the Finals . The 2005 Pistons just choked in the Finals simple as that , and Chauncey can't accept that . 💯🤮🙊🙉🙈😶🌫️💯🤦💥🔥👀🚨✨🌟⚡💫🤨🫣🤔😉😵🫡🫢😳🧐🤯🤡
Is he talking about Brown talking to Gilbert?
Wow that's a shame but Chauncy Billups was a baddddd man
Wow
I'm from Detroit and I remember the rumors that Larry Brown during the playoffs was negotiating a different job for another organization. And I thought to myself wow what a selfish selfish SOB to do that right in the middle of the playoffs! And now to have it verified by Chauncey makes me realize why we didn't win more titles we should have won at least two more! Because that going to work Piston team was truly a great team because their defense was quite literally the best defense in the history of team sports And I mean the entire history of team sports! And I'm not joking! Check the numbers. But now let's hear that that carpetbagger Larry Brown basically grenaded that great team and then they went to Flip Saunders who was not a good coach is just so frustrating
Also it didn't help that we lost that bench that we had in 04
