Braun was ready to play from the very beginning, he deserves the opportunity to be a starter.

Braun sliding into KCP’s spot is fine. The bigger issue is that Murray and Pickett are the only PGs on the roster right now.

  2. We will see. Going to need a big offensive jump.

Gosh if this Christian Braun was so ready how come he played 17 MPG in the playoffs and u burnt out the starters?

I’m warming up to the idea of Braun filling KCPs role. Braun is a better cutter, transition player and finisher. He’s entering his physical prime while KCP is exiting it. Obviously there will likely be a drop off in terms of 3 point shooting.

Bigger issue is the bench. Bench depth was already our biggest issue and we now with Braun starting and Jackson gone we are even more thin. Expecting late first round draft picks with no experience to step in and fill these roles is extremely wishful thinking.

I have no doubt cb will step up to the plate. He’s young and only gonna get better. My issue is bench depth. Complacency isn’t going to get us anywhere. All it did was exhaust our starters last year. We need shooting. We need size. We need ball handling. Tim Connelly is doing it right over in Minnesota. What is deal with booth? Why doesn’t he feel any kind of urgency? I guess I don’t understand his thought process, but dammit he needs to do something. Jokic isn’t getting any younger.

All i got from this is Jokic is forcing Calvin booth not to sit in his hands this offseason and get some bench players
