For a team that’s in contention that’s insane
Everyone wants Markkanen but imo he’s just not good enough to give up those clipper picks. Those clipper picks are pretty much the future of this organization. They will be the foundation the post embiid era will be built on along with maxey.
What I would be willing to do is part with one of the sixers first, perhaps 28 and a bunch of seconds to take kuminga in a 3 way so that the warriors could add more picks so they can live their pipe dream and get markkanen. That’s a much more reasonable plan for a decent player and won’t hurt us long term for when embiid and pg are at the end. They could both be top 5 picks.
