crossover and the latest news uh comes out comes from Jake uh weback who report who’s reporting the Milwaukee Bucks and free agent guard Gary Trenton Jr and listen to way he reports this now could have mutual interest I don’t know what that means uh again he’s also he’s a 25y old Wing former teammate of Damen Lillard um he have to take a substantial pay cut uh to come to the Milwaukee Bucks but again gar TR Jr one of those guys on the list that you talk about and we talked about uh dlan Wright a little bit uh previously but gett Tren Jr is is a is a different level impact player uh like you said he’s about I think he’s about 6’5 or so um and you know he he’s really into this situation you know the NBA right now as always is the halves and the have knots and I think your issue with Gary Trent Jr is he’s into the have not category right now I think he just came off for like a three-year 5 some million do deal I think he opted into like $18 million uh from the Toronto Raptors last season but so far Toronto has not engaged with him at all uh for any um any potential extension or or to resign him uh and again a lot of them like said they already gave money to Scotty Barnes they gave money to uel quickley you’re looking around the league and and the reports right now are that he may not even get the mid-level exception um he he may fall short of that which is about $ 122.5 million um for majority teams with this mid-level exception so if he’s not getting that money anyway if you’re Gary Trent Jr maybe again instead of going somewhere where you know somebody in you know I don’t know Detroit or somebody like that’s gonna overpay for you to play for them youah somebody like why not take a flyer go to Milwaukee take a one-year deal on a minimum and go ball out and try and win a championship I don’t that again that’s a a way to elevate your stat and get and potentially get to uh get get yourself into some more money for the next year instead of you know hooping in in wherever Ville right so again but but for the Milwaukee Bucks if the Bucks pulled us off what a pickup what a pickup Gary Trent Jr would be especially when you talk about the options the Bucks have but again you look at Gary Trent and there are some serious like I guess I want say downsides um I think for the bucks there aren’t any Adam at a minimum I mean it’s it’s a great deal but it’s just going to be tough for G TR Jr to get the money that he probably thinks he can command when you know he’s kind of a one trick pony he’s okay defensively not a slouch sometimes he he plays defense when he wants to play um but he’s just a sharpshooter like he’s a he is a he shoots the three very well and again it’s just gonna be tough to find money for guys like I said and I think Chris we were talking before before we started this like he does he has those games right and that’s the thing about Gary TR Jr I think he had like 30 when they played the Bucks long time last season like he does have these games where like G Tren Jr is effective and a very good basketball player um and again I’ve always like G I remember seeing him in the summer league back I think it was like uh 2018 2019 whatever it was I was the summer league as like man garon Jr is a he’s a dog I like him so I’ve always liked him back when he was with Portland uh in Toronto um now he’s well now we’ll see where he ends up um but but yeah what do you think about the rumors gett Tren Jr potentially to the Milwaukee Bucks well I think it would be great I think the familiarity just him playing with Dame I think that would give Dame another face that he’s played around and maybe it’ll allow him to kind of get even more comfortable with the group that that the Bucks have and get more acclimated to Milwaukee I think that would be great and then who doesn’t want to play with Giannis and contend for a championship I think we we saw what Beasley did to raise his stock a little bit I don’t know how much he’ll get paid but it’s it probably won’t be in Milwaukee so yeah I think it’s a good situation overall and then obviously you and I Trey were talking about maybe getting Teran Shannon Junior in the draft well this is well that was for offensive purposes well this would be great as as well because now you have an option U maybe behind Dame or along with Dame maybe move him to the shooting guard and then now you have a kind of a dual threat in the front Court whereas felt like a lot of times last year we just saw a lot of you know pick and roll between Giannis and Dame and then who else was creating when Chris wasn’t in wasn’t healthy stuff like that so I I think being able to have multiple scoring punches along with Giannis and Dame somebody that can create their own shot I think I would like a lot for the bucks yeah if the Bucs could pull this off again it would be a nice Splash not the big biggest of names obviously that that that have been out there you saw you know Paul George those type players but you know it would be a huge deal to Buck could go get a Gary Trent Jr guy I’ve always liked um for a long time uh another guy in the rumors from Milwaukee Bucks has been a buck before um your boy Jabar Parker man like and listen when I saw this and again Garett Wolford was reporting this you know he sniffs Jabar jock SN jock straps all he’s been doing that for a long time um listen man if summer league you want to come to summer league if you remember Jabar is supposed to be at the buck summer league like last year um and then he was reported to be on the summer league team and I think last year right before summer league he chose not to come I think he had some personal issues or whatever last time we saw him he was crying in some foreign country uh after the after the season ended so I mean I I don’t know man Jabari is kind of run out of thing I you know I feel for him with the knee injuries and acl’s and all that um but he he kind of washed himself out of the league again injuries injuries had a big part to do with it but you know the not committing the defense and listen if it’s a summer league type of deal you know two-way type of deal you trying to work your way back into League I mean fine whatever I would rather that go to a young guy who maybe can try to contend into being something Jabar is a a washed product to me like it’s it’s over um you know somebody tell me oh it’s The Vibes man Jabar what Vibes did Jabari ever have Milwaukee that were good I don’t remember him so listen I I I don’t need to see Jabar again if you want to do him summer league cool let him see if he can rehabilitate himself get himself back into league but I I’d rather be for somebody else and again I don’t mind summer league but on the regular roster for the bucks nah I’m good I think I’m okay on this one too I just you know the injuries are so unfortunate because he really could have been a special player but I think you know he’s really carved out a a role in overseas basketball that you know obviously he would rather spend his career in the United States but it’s like at this point if you’re not as athletic why not just stay over there man like those the the more non-athletic guys they tend to thrive over there in overseas basketball just the tougher guys and you know I I just don’t think he’s built for today’s NBA game at this point it’s been just too long I think it’d be too rusty and I think you also got to give especially getting younger I think you got to give your young guys a shot right so if he’s playing at the 3 four who these guys that we just drafted are they just going to continue to take red shirt years I I I hope not so yeah I mean I I think I’m okay on this one too yeah I just don’t know what Jabar can bring at this point this stage in his career again hopefully he can resurrect himself I just don’t think it’s going to be uh in the Cream City in Milwaukee uh but again stay right here keep it locked always to
