yo what’s going on guys this is Houston Sports Talk Back in another video today and today the Brooklyn Nets are trading for shake Milton from the New York Knicks Shake Milton who has been in the NBA since 201819 season mainly has spent time with Philadelphia and then the last season in the 2023 24 season he he went around the whole GL Globe basically I’m just kidding uh went from Minnesota to Detroit and then Detroit to New York so uh you know I like this addition for Brooklyn this is part of the Mel Bridges trade uh you have you have um shake and another two-way contract player who’s I think it’s ma madama D DK or something uh going to the Brooklyn Nets with um with boan bogdanovich and all the draft picks and then also going with Mel Bridges to New York is Kad bat steop so th those were the three players that were added to this Mel Bridges trade Shake Milton uh the madama uh two-way contract guy and then also kot bat Diop who is going to New York with Bridges uh Shake Milton last year played 48 games with the Minnesota tempol Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks and in 38 games with Minnesota he averaged 13 minutes per game shot 40% from the floor 26% from three which is not like him because keep in mind he is a 36% three uh three-point shooter and he averaged five points per game with 1.3 rebounds per game 1.3 assist per game then he goes to Detroit plays four games with Detroit 16 minutes per game shoots 42% from the floor 34% from the three seven points per game 4.5 rebounds per game two assists per game a half a steal per game then he goes to New York plays six games five minutes per game two points per game one rebound per game and um also shot 50% from three leaving Philadelphia really hurt him because he got a lot of minutes in Philadelphia and was one of the best players off their bench with Philadelphia he really got a lot of playing times 2022 23 season with Philadelphia 76 games 11 starts 20.6 minutes per game at 48% from the floor 38% from three he averaged 8.4 points per game 3.2 assists per game three rebounds per game 2021 22 season 55 games six starts 21.4 minutes per game with Philadelphia also shot 43% from the floor 32% from three averaging 8.2 points per game his best season with was with Philadelphia in the 20 2021 season when he played 63 games four starts 23.2 minutes per game shot 45% from the floor 35% from three he also averaged 13 points per game three assists per game and 2.3 rebounds per game and finished top 10 in the Sixth Man of the Year voting so let me know your thoughts on the trade for the Brooklyn Nets Brooklyn is also signing him to a threee $9 million deal cuz Shake was a free agent the first two years of the contract are guaranteed the third one is not let me know your thoughts on the signing in the comment section and or the sign the sign in trade because Brooklyn traded for him and then gave him a three-year $9 million contract let me your thoughts in the comment SE comment section and peace out
