Isaiah Mobley is a good basketball player. He just isn’t a good enough player to get nba minutes. But who knows maybe one day

People’s expectations for 2nd rnd picks are too high. Very few stay in the league past their first contract, if they ever even make it. If taking a family member of one of your star players helps motivate that player to stick around long term, then that’s a whole lot better value than what a 2nd will normally fetch you

I have watched Sasha at Olympiakos the past few seasons, especially his MVP season.
He has a quick shot release and has great shooting range, half decent rebounder/ team rebounder. His lateral quickness needs work if he wants to be a solid one-one defender. Euroleague and Greek Basketball, with the shrunk court and packed paint, make up for individual defender deficiencies.
Him getting injured did not help his rookie season and being behind Murray at Sac, did not allow him to showcase himself, unlike Micic at Charlotte who played somewhat okay (argument of stats on a bad team, I digress).
End of the day, he was raised in Greece and I am sure he is comfortable there (fans love him). He secured a somewhat decent NBA contract, should be fine the rest of his life. I will say, if him and Dean Wade were somehow morphed into one NBA player, dude would be a baller on the Cavs.
