Is this how it stands currently? If I’m not missing someone; so far, so good. Curious to see what’s next.

  1. Yeah, with the lineup – I prefer if Melton starts, Buddy’s defense is suspect and he’s averse shooting contested in sixers. Steph will still play with him anyway

Honestly we need another big, not necessarily center. A big or a taller wing will complete the lineup nicely (if lauri’s not gonna be here)

Swap Moody and GP2…..GP2 can only play limited minutes due to being injury prone.

Team is really deep but lacking top level talent. Feel like there’s not enough minutes to go around. Only players I don’t expect to play are Lindy and Gui. If we can get Markannen without giving up Kuminga, I think we are contenders.

  4. I’ll be shocked if Buddy is a starter for this team.

I don’t think they will start Draymond at center. My guess is they will look early at starting TJD.

    My line up would be:

    Steph / Melton

    Podz / Hield / GP2

    Kuminga / Wiggins / Moody

    Draymond / Kyle Anderson

     TJD / Post / Looney

Don’t think you can start Dray at the 5, especially as he’s getting up there in years.

Me and kerr are gonna throw hands if buddy hield starts.

  8. I don’t know how I feel about Dray at the 5. He’s at his best at the 4 as a sort of defensive free safety

So weird not seeing Klay right under steph

Swap gp2 with moody, and play him the limited minutes

Dubs are going to be so small at the 2 spot smh

TJD should start at centre and push Wiggins to the bench. Kuminga will be a 20ppg player this year, Wiggins’ scoring isn’t overly necessary and I think they’d benefit more from having a paint presence on both ends.

Poor moody man. Just like that hes back at the end of the bench.

The Warriors have a #1 (Curry), a #3 (Draymond), a #4 (Wiggins), and a bunch of very good role players for a title team. You can see any of the Melton, Hield, TJD, GP2, SloMo, JK, Looney, and Moody group being contributors to a title team but they’re not necessarily high end talent. Looney has shown he can be a #5 guy and JK obviously has the talent to be more than a role player but the team as constructed is missing a few pieces to push them into contender status.

Having 8 guys that deserve rotation minutes is great for the regular season but it seems MDJ already knows he needs to package 2 or 3 these guys to get a #2 behind Curry. Depending on who they trade for (Markkanen/Ingram) and what they give up (Wiggins, JK, etc), the Warriors still feel 1 to 2 players away from being a playoff dark horse.

Brandon is starting at the 2 and then he’ll rotate – or Melton will be in before Hield. Buddy is a second unit scorer with us. Also Moses is a 3 behind Andrew

We’re missing a real center. Time to move on from small ball lineup

    What’s up with Wiggins?

Hope it’s more than being nice backfiring.
