Monte Morris is now a phoenix son you guys probably know Monte Morris from around the league most notably in Denver but the last season he has spent with Minnesota and Detroit uh averaged about Five Points a game listen he’s a solid guard uh he’s going to be able to distribute he’s going to be able to score when needed uh just a good overall player uh you’re not looking for the sky you’re not looking for a Chris Paul replacement you’re not looking for a Steve Nash clone you’re just looking for somebody that can help facilitate the offense get the ball moving get the ball up the court more importantly and at 29 years of age from Iowa State Monte Morris can certainly do that he had his best seasons in Denver as we know averaging 10 points a game but now with this Phoenix Suns team he’s going to have a great opportunity to be able to elevate listen his his own stock for one year on a vet minimum but also the the team who desperately needed a point guard in some way shap or form last season and now the Suns have their man in Monte Morris
