Can someone explain this?



I’m a little new to the nba, so does this mean we get a 1st round pick no matter what and we get the best one out of those 3 teams?

    For the Knicks, the pick conveys if it falls outside of the top 8 in 2026, meaning if the pick is anywhere from 9-30 it would belong to the Knicks.

    If the pick does belong to the Wizards in 2026 they have the option to swap with the Suns and Magic for the most favorable pick. Say for instance the Suns, Magic, and Wizards finished 1-2-3 in the lottery that season. Since the Wizards own the right to swap, the Wizards would hold the #1 pick and the Suns would hold #3.
