Bet they trade him somewhere other than LA for a 2035 2nd round pick

    LOL, good luck…

This reminds me of when the Lakers wanted a FRP for Pau. Like he still had a few productive years left, but no one was ever going to surrender a FRP for him at that stage in his career.

Fast forward to next week: Clippers get him for a second round pick in 2030

Sounds like he’s gonna be a buck next year

If Brook is worth a 1st, tf is Dlo worth? Lol

At this point I can’t tell if they hate the Lakers as a franchise or if they just hate Rob personally lol

Call me crazy but I think the Lakers should do it we only have probably two more years with Lebron. We got to go all in.

  8. motorboat_mcgee

Basically everyone wants 1sts from us, and will accept 2nds from others lol

  9. cmurray555

This is crazy bc I checked out the Bucks Reddit last week and they were all saying they’d be happy to do 1 for 1 trade for Rui lmao

Correction- they r only demanding first round from the Lakers.
For other teams it’s for vending machine and late second rounder

  11. How about Cam Reddish as a substitute? Darvin loves Reddish.

  12. Any time it’s the Lakers, they want 2 first round picks. Anyone else, one second round pick

  13. BizzyHaze

What about a first rounder thats protected 1-25 and if it doesnt convey turns into a second rounder.

I think some won’t agree with this because of the name, his history with the Lakers, and his effectiveness in certain matchups, but I don’t think we should be getting a drop coverage big that takes up big money like Lopez. If we’re gonna get an archetype like that, I’d rather it be a less effective player that would play less minutes and get less money, an AD reliever.

It’s just not something we can deploy against every team, if we trot 36 year old Lopez out there against the Nuggets in crunchtime we’re asking to get cooked by Murray again. And if we sit him, then that’s 16% of the cap unplayable against strong guards. I’d much rather focus on getting a versatile wing.

That’s not entirely unrealistic. At what point do the lakers actually use a pick in a trade?

  16. Sirtopofhat

Chris Tucker: DAMN WHO YOU THINK WE TRADING FOR CHELSEA CLINTON!?

  17. Lakers tax is crazy. He’ll be traded for a 2028 2nd rounder

  18. AntSmith777

He will be traded to the Pelicans for a heavily protected 8th round pick.

We call it the Lakers tax. Nobody want to help the Lakers win another ring. The day’s of fleecing teams in a trade are long gone. For the Lakers they’ve ben gone even longer.
