What are the Miami Heat doing
it’s very rare that an NBA Finals run does more damage than good longterm but I think for the Miami Heat team this is what’s happening Miami can point to that NBA Finals run and be like this team can contend if healthy but then at the same time you look at the team and you’re like I don’t care if you were healthy you weren’t beating Boston and heat culture is good heat culture is cool I also think that heat culture has a ceiling as it currently stands I think especially in this new CBA one of the worst things in NBA team can do is just stay stagnant there is so much movement so many teams east and Western Conference trying to get better and I feel like just staying put if you’re not the Celtics I feel like just staying put is going to not be good

So in 2023 the heat made it to the finals⦠while facing 3 teams who each had an injury to on of their star players. They were also just an average to sub par team in the regular season.
Since that run, the Celtics got 10x better, the bucks went in a new direction, the Knicks got 10x better, the 76ers got 10x better, the magic and pacers got 10x better.
And the heat? They got worse. Theyβre delusional if they think Tyler Herro will be apart of a championship winning big 3 π
