[Damien Barling] I know it seems easy to conclude Demar will go home to LA and I understand that. There’s a lot of moving parts that may favor the Kings in this situation. This isn’t a leverage play. The Kings have a legitimate chance to pull off a deal for Demar DeRozan.

i thought it was pretty obvious the kings would be the team to push the hardest for him. first of all they missed the playoffs last year. they can’t stand pat after their fans getting a taste of the playoffs the previous year. demar will be willing to go there as long as the money is right. theres also reports he is soured on the lakers because of whatever happened the last time they tried to get him and it fell through. i dont think the clippers want to pay what he wants.
That’s best for all. He’s not what this team needs.

Im in the minority but I actually like the DeRozan fit. He may not be perfect but we need another scorer to go along with james and Kawhi and is a decent playmaker. If we can get him on a 3 yr (3rd yr TO or partial guarantee if possible) i would be on with that. Remember yall.. these next 2 yrs is just a stop gap
Like I said about pg from the beginning derozan is not him either. They just don’t have the it factor for winning. Any team he goes on I guarantee right now zero percent that team is winning anything.
Don’t like the fit. Would be fun to have him, wouldn’t be mad, but if the Kings get him no problem.
