I’d love it, but not if it means shipping out more than one 1st.

Perfect piece, honestly. Gives us size and defense. Would take a lot of pressure off Joel on the boards.

The bucks are already looking to trade Lopez, why would they trade portis?
Hopeful_Judge_10
Feels like the perfect fit for us: good defender, 41% from 3 on 3.5 attempts a game over the past four seasons, and 8 rebounds over that same span. Solid tough role player that would fit our city well

I would do it in a heartbeat. He’s pretty damn close to being a perfect fit. Could even play spurts at center.
I’d consider offering 2 1sts, honestly.

I was saying last week Bobby Portis is exactly what we need, didn’t know he was available
TJMcConnellFanClub
Rather convince Caleb Martin to come in for cheap as the last rotational piece than give up assets now that we can use in February. I agree he’d be a good pickup, and if we send out picks I’d just have to swallow and like it (pause), but Portis will be there in February if the Bucks are stagnant

bball Paul doesn’t really make any sense in Milwaukee though right? You can’t put him next to Giannis at all.
I think they trade brook and keep portis next to Giannis.
SonicdaSloth
How is he not 30 and at 12 mil it makes sense too.

Wow, this would be phenomenal. Rebounding would be a strength of the sixers. They’d be loaded with 3 ball potential in a lineup with Maxey, PG, Portis, and Embiid.

Probably the best of all the available options imo. Size, rebounding, toughness, championship pedigree. Not to mention he’s on a great salary and somehow only 29 years old? 1 first and a few swaps, get it done Daryl

I’d love to have him, but Why on earth would the Bucks give us Portis?
NotJoeyWheeler
how good do you guys think Bobby Portis is that you want to trade two 1sts for him dear lord
I promise you he’s not that guy

Here me out on this: bucks traded jrue last year hoping to get better with dame, Celtics traded for jrue and won the championship. Reports are the bucks are pretty much shopping everyone including Bobby portis. So hypothetically bucks trade Bobby to another team and then we come in and trade for Bobby with that team and win the championship

I would love portis on this team. I think he’s a super underrated player. He’s a double double threat when given starter minutes. He can score inside, outside, and can hit the mid range jumper. Also brings toughness to a team. I see him as an elite role player/solid starter type player.

Are the Bucks actually trying to offload Portis? Bc if so, he’s probably the best “gettable” option out there as a stretch 4.
