get Markin in then your starting five is kaminga marinin Steph tjd Draymond then obviously some of the people we got Melton Kyle Anderson be able to help in the back Waters as well in that case Wiggins would be there but as this thing right here picks so if we look at the war picks this is what we actually have for the picks we get our first rounder or we have our own first rounder for 25 26 27 28 29 30 and 31 so where it says here what complicates it is the Warriors only have two unprotected picks Plus protect the first rounder I’m not sure I just looked that up so something is a bit off I’m not sure what it is I’m going to try to do some research but just know again it comes down to what do the jazs want do they want to win now no it does not feel like that they’re trying to build for the future that’s why they have all the draft picks from the goar trade from the mitell trade so then let’s look at it from the Jazz side the trade seen as difficult by insiders because of the contract he’s currently on him being marketing more than one rival team has shared that the OB obervation that it would be difficult for the Jazz to trade him in the short term even if they wanted to control for more than a season and when his salary is relatively low they have a much better chance to command the Bridget style offer filled with future draft picks like New York agreed to the furnish Nets if he signed to an extension so basically long story short what’s that saying if he’s only signed for one year it’s hard to get four or five first rounders maybe even three because what if he doesn’t want to play in the bay Sacramento Miami Minnesota wherever he may go then you give up a lot for one year and he’s gone who did that recently that and it worked out for them Toronto two for two more seasons in an average of 24 million per year Marin does not have that same it’s one year 18 million NBA restrictions limit his extension to a salary worth about $27 million so the Jazz would need to Ren neate his deal before extending him the negotiation window opens August 6th for an extension that could reach 4 years $13 million crazy for his production he provide 20 points a game plays around 50 60 games I’ve seen that a concern but to only get 27 million a year rough now this is why I said this could drawn out there is absolutely no reason for the Jazz to then try to that means that this is going to be drawn out the Warriors Kings Spurs t-wolves and Pelicans all have expressed interest in marketing he as well but again the offishal reported earli this week that Utah prefers to keep Lowry and renegotiate renegotiate and extend him they can’t do that though till August 6 Utah holds a stockpile of first round picks in the next few drafts trading Market in receiving even more could help accelerate a rebuild it sounds like any potential agreement would likely have to wait for the Jazz star potential extension until August August folks again this is going to be drawn out I completely understand agree with that you get more out of your bang for your buck if you signed to a multi-year deal the team knows they’re under team control versus where the player kaminga needs to get extended Moody what’s up with him if Brandon plays the way he does again he’s got three years left he’d be looking for extension two years so there’s some room to play with if we can if the Jazz s Mark to the 113 four years 27 million per year put 27 million per year on the 25 26 26 27 puts you at50 million is puts you at another like 90 million-ish so there’s room to spare and potentially get Curry and extended if he wants to extend kaminga whatnot so the option is there for the Warriors to make that happen the question is what are you going to give up and again we have these draft picks the question is are we giving up these draft picks for that we need to figure out the protections versus no protections but Danny a plays hard ball looking to get if it’s the bridges at least four first rounds if he’s extended after August 6 that’s something that very much could happen if it’s not before has to be one or two and what is they want to do with those first picks obviously you can trade up in the draft and go ahead and get someone you think is a generational Talent you could also trade for a generational talent in the NBA so it will well time will tell which is a cliche and I hate that but that’s only true this is where we’re at before all this went down this offseason again Clay’s gone Chris’s gone so you can see how it’s kind of squared off a little bit Jake Fischer has been wrong so many times, I don’t believe jack crap from his reporting. You win championships through the draft and not free agency unless it’s someone like KD or LeBron. Case in point, W’s, Boston, and Denver.
For an expiring contract, I wouldn’t offer too much. Jazz are gonna pull a clippers and lose him for nothing.🤣

Why do you keep bringing up his durability? Last two years Jazz shut him down after the trade deadline as they were trying to tank. You need to be able to see through the simple numbers …
If the Jazz wait until agust 6th and they extend him, they cant trade him for 6 months. So they have to trade him now or they cant trade him until feb and they cant risk waiting that long.

This sounds like a weird reporting 🤔 Has there never before been those wink wink deals of someone resigning with a team? Also while Lauris salary is small, it's easy to find a matching salary from any team. When the salary goes up, then teams need to give up some kind of major player or many many players to match the salary. Only part that made sense was Lauri being under team control IF you are going to trade him somewhere he really doesn't want to be at. But since he is such a family guy, why would you want to get him in to the situation where he and his family doesn't feel comfortable? That won't increase the likelihood of him keeping developing and playing to his maximum capacity. (Not that he would slack on purpose but mental toll affects athletes too)
I think the Warriors have to be really careful here.
Why not trade wiggs gp2 moody to get lauri instead. Gsw got hield melton podz for guards alongside curry, and no need for wiggs cos got kyle kuminga dray.
Sorry but the spurs have 13 number one picks in the next five years. . Including four next year. They have unlimited cap room if a trade is involved and young players to trade.

Pass on Lauri injury prone and not that great of a shooter for return. He does not guarantee a championship plus giving up draft haul for one maybe year. Maybe he stays healthy.
go to Lavine instead of trading kuminga to markkanen
Mike needs to go for it. Even better if he keeps GP2 and instead ships off Wiggins- rid yourself of the headache of the undisclosed Wiggins family drama that causes him to miss tons of games every year.

Ainge is just sitting back and laughing. Ainge won't give up Markkanen, unless he gets a franchise type player.
Forget them picks you can always aquire picks later…. He's a 7ft Stretch big shooting 43% Mike Jr sign and extend him 3 yrs to cover Curry's current Prime
But the Spurs has 22 picks for 2025-26. I don’t understand why Jazz wouldn’t want that more.

Trade rumors that go on and on never materialize. Most player moves aka trades and signing simply happen and generally happen unexpectedly with terms never discussed or considered by outsiders. Speculative transactions never materialize. Deals are done undercover and revealed once completed.
Podz has to stay! GP2 should, too..
If Lauri extends then he can’t be traded until one day before the trade deadline on feb 4.
Meaning realistically no trade until 25 offseason.

I think that Ainge is blowing smoke about a LM trade. Why would he trade this guy for anything less then the kitchen sink. Now that the GSW's have Slomo what about trading Green and wiggs along with cash and draft picks to get what they want. From what I have seen they should stand pat with JK, Moody, Podz, TJD, Santos LQ and Gariuba. Slomo can do most of the stuff that Green can do except getting suspended on a regular basis. So far a great off season for the GSW. This trade or die anxiety can be put to rest if only Kerr will let the young guys play and evolve. JK can get a basket from almost any where, not so with LM.
