It is a good pick up but I donât get the Sixers roster construction. Is Paul George going to be the starting power forward?

They are gonna have the same problem as last year. They used almost all of their cap space and have no bench. Theyâre gonna sign a bunch of bums and over the hill veterans and then do shocked pikachu face when their 2nd unit is a combined -89 in their first round playoff loss.

It’s still a downgrade from Batum imo
Jusuf_Nurkic
Martin was pretty bad last year, injured a lot, advanced stats had him as -2.0 BPM and 0.0 VORP. Plus Miami role players are very often busts outside of that system. They have to rely on this guy to be a starter, Iâm totally fine with them wasting their money on him. The team still has no depth at all

Is it though?

Their best bench player is still Eric Gordon. Hard to be concerned about them unless they make more moves to get some depth

Heâll join a long list of Heat role players who immediately become trash once no longer coached by Spo (Whiteside, Nunn, Vincent, Strus, etc.)Â

I believe in our team, roster, leadership & coaches. I respect the competition⊠weâre NY, havenât earned the right yet to feel ourselves in July.
Earn it NY. We ainât paper tigers flexing until we prove it on the court. Stay humble, stay hungry⊠itâs a hard road ahead vs real competition.. blue collar, one game at a time.

Heat role players are never a good investment especially if the heat let them walk

Sixers just throwing a bunch of players together, team chemistry is a real thing and overlooked too often, george is only a fit with Maxey and embid on paper, he’s never even played a pick up game with either guy. I could absolutely see the sixers losing first round with all these different personalities their hoping mesh together

Letâs stack wins while they figure it out đđ

I ainât afraid of em. PG and Embiid are certified playoff chokers
oh_no_the_claw
I love Caleb Martin. Livin’ La Vida Loca is my jam. Haven’t heard any of his new stuff tho

Miami offered him more money and he opted out lol
Distinct-Pangolin112
Top 4 team for sure. I like their moves so far. Great competition…
datatadata
Decent pick up but he wont be the same man he once was as soon as he leaves Miami. Heats role players always look good while they are in Miami
ObiOneKenobae
Heat roleplayers are as fraudulent as it gets. They’ll be complaining about him by the trade deadline.
Merman-Munster
They got a nice squad over there. East should be great this year.

Dude is always clutch at the wrong time (meaning at other teamâs expense). So pretty much when Embiid and PG disappear he and Maxey might be the only ones keeping the teamâs head above water.
HardOakleyFoul
The only Heat guy that actually played worth a shit after he left Spos system was Max Struss last season. And it’s not like he lit the league on fire, he just wasn’t completely worthless like bum ass Gabe Vincent and others before him. Martin will do nothing, because he can do nothing, so get him the fuck out of my sight.
