let’s go let’s go if you’re a Grizzlies fan if you’re a basketball fan if you’re from Memphis if you watch Memphis basketball or just basketball period This is a W for basketball cuz what I’m seeing right right here is a big three really a big four cuz I don’t know why they didn’t put desm B in this picture you know I feel like he definitely deserve a spot in the picture but just these three guys right here the Grizz is going to be a problem Zack Edy is the perfect fit for them now let’s not overthink this because I think that’s what a lot of people are doing a lot of people are overthinking this this pit without even really realizing and doing their research on Z Ed I think a lot of people just kind of follow other people in what they say you know but I did my due diligence I did my research you know going into the draft I was feeling Donovan Clingan you know I was thinking that the Grizz was going to make a trade up to get him but looking at the draft it didn’t work out that way so the Grizzlies Draft Zack Edy at number nine and Zack Edy is coming to the league coming off of backtack National Championships well no no not national championships backto back National player of the years in college and he’s a beast you know all around you know he he averaged over 20 points and over 10 rebounds per game and he’s a guy who can bring that energy and bring just hard work and hard ethic a lot of people not put into consideration that Edie hasn’t played basketball for even that long you know he started really playing serious at the age of 16 in his sophomore year in high school so and every single step that he has taken he has overachieved and I think that’s what people are feeling to realize this guy is known to make analysts rethink what they thought you know and I don’t see how all these analysts and all these coaches and all these GMS can see a 74 player who won national champion who won national Player of the Year and look at his skill set and not see that he’s that he’s useful you know cuz I think that he can work on any team really it’s really just how you how you move him but think about it he just came from Purdue Purdue had a a college team you know they had a okay team you know they made it to they did make it to the championship but we’re talking about the NBA he got John Morant passing him the ball John Morant gonna be using him for the screen going around dumping the bang bang shooting H for the three or you can D ins side of jiren let jiren cook or you can DB the side of Edy let Edy cook you know what I’m saying it’s so many different styles and weapons that’s with the Grizzlies now I ain’t gonna lie it it makes this team very fun to watch and I like how somebody said that jiren Jackson uh and Edy are kind of like the new Zack Randolph and marasol and I I think that’s a uh I think that’s a like a great comparison you know the way Zack Ed plays he’s slow but he fast at the same time and I didn’t even know that he he beat Clingan and all the speed tests in the uh the draft combine so it just it just shows just how um how agile and how much he can move you know so I think this is a great pick for the Grizzlies this team is probably one of my my my favorite Grizzlies team that’s forming together uh I I love the bench um if we can get another big man I think we need we need to do that um and to be honest today is the uh the second day of the draft I ain’t going to lie if we get you know take a chance on bronnie James you know what I’m saying we hey I just feel like it just it’s just that time for the Grizzlies you know this team is is very formed together very nicely you got jiren you got John Morant Zack Edy Desmond Bane Marcus SM you already got two defensive players of the years in that top five lineup and then on top of that you got a guy like Zack Edy 74 Beast I don’t know bro I don’t I don’t see I don’t see these big man like this like even Shaq Shaq even loves Ed he calls him uh Zak O’Neal or something like that like even Shaq you know loves edting and because because Shaq sees himself in Edy think about Shaq being on the Grizzy right now if Shaq was on the Grizzy right now we’ll be like Ah that’s Shaq you feel me but I think it’s it’s it’s because it’s idy and we haven’t seen him work in the NBA we don’t even know so I ain’t going to lie just me be me being me and me seeing what I seen I’m just very optimistic about this pick and I feel good you know and then on top of that we got D Rose you know what I’m saying D Rose we got Scotty Pippen Jr like like we really got a squad bro we got Scotty Pitman son we are we got Shaq you know what I’m saying marcusa Victor wi yata type player we got johnar you know what I’m saying Iverson type we got jiren Jackson he like Kevin Garnett like I I ain’t going to lie like this team is coming together very nicely and I’m I’m very excited about the future of Memphis basketball I know that uh Edy will sell a lot of tickets I feel like he’ll sell some tickets in jerseys and just merch period uh I really don’t know where he from is is he is he foreign or is he Hispanic I don’t I can’t really tell but I’m going to do my due diligence and see but man I just had to come and let y’all know zck Edy is is uh the future of the Grizzlies you know um I know some I know uh I was listen to the radio today they were talking about longevity and that usually guys his size don’t last uh more than like whatever five to seven years and I think we just have to wait and see in college he played 138 games out of 140 games so it just shows just how um how eligible he was and how you know how ready he was so uh you know how they say they say the best ability is availability you know so we just going to have to wait and see how that translates into the NBA and I’m just excited man just excited just excited man this going this going to be this going to be awesome and then going into going into the second round you know this is where this is where the grizzly shine I think that’s what people fail to realize that grizz’s really know how to find talent in the second round we drafted GG Jackson last year in the second round and uh who else did we draft we drafted Santi Al dama deep in the second round like he was one of the last picks uh who else Xavier tman was all right you know we drafted him in the second round Vince Williams Jr another guy like we like this this what we do so we got two second round picks I don’t think the grees are going to trade those I think we’re just going to go ahead and pick when it’s our time to pick and we should see we should see um I don’t know too many players around that so I think it’s just it’s all it’s all a tossup I’m not I’m not about to sit here and you know have predictions and stuff because it’s tonight but I’m just excited to see who who is uh who was left on this squad you know at the end of the day and I’m excited for the future so uh I think everything’s coming together nicely you got Brandon Clark coming back uh you got smart who just saw his previous team win the championship so you know he’s definitely going to want to have something to prove and to show you know prove people wrong cuz to have you know your former team win after they trade you you know it’s kind of hard on the person personally you know you you definely going to be happy for your uh you know former teammates cuz you fought hard with them but um you know I think I think now it’s time for Marcus Smart to really show himself and for this grizzly team to really get something together you know uh you got John Morant who came off a a bad injury last season uh John Morant was you know he he was dealing with a lot you know with the whole gun situation and and everything so I think like really for everybody this is a this is a real like like okay like it’s time you know it’s this is a real it’s time type moment in grizz’s basketball and I would say it’s really like that for for me for Memphis basketball period like even what’s going on with Penny Hardway in the college you know so um I think Memphis basketball is back the Grizzlies are back and it’s about to get real you know I think the uh it’s time to to put the NBA on notice and to let people know that the Grizzlies time is coming you know I’m not going to say it’s now or anything like that cuz we got to see how it all works but I’m going say this it’s coming and I do believe that we can win a chip and get a ring with Z eting you know um we it’s just it’s just about how we build our bench but I’m loving the bench anyway we got GG Jackson Vince Williams uh Scotty Pippen and uh Veron Clark you know so we got we got we got a pretty good bench and you got Luke Canard you know coming out shooting so I I just think we just need you know another big man or two and we’ll be good so hey it’s all around the M know what’s going on and I’m out peace
