Former Jazz coach Johnnie Bryant was named associate head coach for the Cavs. Bryant seems like a really good coach and probably deserves the promotion but I am sure Donovan pushed for him also.
It will be interesting to see how much influence Donovan exerts in Cleveland, especially with only 2 years on his contract before he can opt out. Donovan having more power in Cleveland and wanting to win now may be good for the Jazz later draft picks.
