That’s a good stat line, he needs to be more discipline staying on his feet though. The kid can play. Really smooth game he has

Still curious where the work ethic concerns came from. Was grinding around the rim

I personally was very happy with Ware today. I thought he put on a solid B- performance. He clearly had some nerves coming into the game, shook them off in the second half and played a good debut

Those blocks were incredible

5 blocks? Oh my

He really stands out on a court of potential NBA players with his ridiculous measurements. He looks smooth moving around which makes me think he definitely has a lot of potential to improve his game. That soft midrange touch is encouraging as well

The eye test alone tells me this guy is pretty skilled. Compared to say, Orlando Robinson, who looks pretty clunky around the rim and with his general movements/shooting. Ware looks smooth out there, lots of potential.

But how many dribble hand offs? We only hand out big contracts to centers who end games with more dribble hand offs than shot attempts.

That’s our Rookie. Can’t wait to watch these boys live this season.

still pretty raw. needs a bit more seasoning and a brief sear on both sides in the pan. potential is there.
carbine234
Honestly he got a defensive presence for sure, definitely raw in offense but he definitely got the skills

His motor reminds me of JaVale Mcgee which is great cause I’ve always loved those type of players that are active under the rim. Excited to see his development and how Spo utilizes him with the team. If he can at least just give 15-18minutes this season to allow Bam to thrive as a PF I count it as an absolute win.
Cocknballtorture90
needs to stay on his feet more but that all comes with time, can’t wait to see dude develop fr.
