Poku’s money was non-guaranteed, and they may have needed to clear a bit of space to accomplish the Graham deal. That money would be opened up right after, cause they waived Graham, but I’m pretty sure they have to officially roster him for a few seconds before they can waive him.

Even tho, I’ve been high on Aleksej, he’s nothing more than a 3rd string player, who’s to slow to play the 3, to slight to play the 5, and no real mins available at 3, 4, or 5 positions. He’d be 3rd on depth chart at all 3 positions, so it’s best to go ahead and cut bait now!
Bring in a playoff veteran who can at least provide towards changing bad habits and building a stronger culture.

I liked him, but l guess we do have another lanky foreign project to consider. I would have thought he’d be good for depth at least, but l like their other moves (and that it seems like they’re cleaning house to match a larger plan).
