well first off coach how did the first day practice go I thought it was awesome uh really really good energy uh just building our daily habits both sides of the ball um but the spirit was was was awesome what are maybe some of the the initial things you’re trying to instill in these guys in these first couple practices yeah the first things just playing for each other playing together um defensively protecting the paint and being aggressive on the ball and then offensively sharing the ball and playing with Pace uh obviously uh if you know a couple of guys in team but Donovan a new ad kind of your your initial thoughts on his stay here yeah I think uh our Rim defense should definitely improve but he’s a he’s a great guy to be around just his his Spirit he’s very selfless very coachable and competitive he’s obviously a winner which we value here um but you know defensively it’s it’s protecting the rim and you know he’s very good in pick and roll and then offensively he can do a couple different things which is interesting uh could you expand on maybe those couple different things yeah you know I think around the rim his size you know deep seals he’s shown the ability to shoot the three and then playmake a little bit so putting him in a couple different spots on the court to playmake from uh how much more uh ready is Ryan now or like how much is Ryan grown now from where you know he was going into his first summer league a year ago yeah I think physically he’s grown literally um but just understanding the game um the shot has come a long way um so I think he’s going to have a very very good Vegas what’s the uh what’s the style of play you you guys are going to try to Institute in summer is it is it kind of just what you do now on the team or is anything mixing up because of your personnel yeah I would say somewhere in between um but definitely especially these first couple days playing fast and playing off the catch trying to get in the paint share the ball what are you hoping to get out of guys between Chris and Ryan kind of having already being the experienced vets last year you had Barry to kind of help you along that line what are you kind of looking for with those guys yeah you know I think especially for the new guys coming in just showing them what we do in that leadership aspect a lot by talking and also by doing and just knowing how we go about our business here um on the court they’re both great on the ball and they’re good health Defenders and they both use their their length well um and offensively you know shooting their open shots making some shots and then playing off the catch what stood out for you so far with Donovan um you know his size is pretty good um and just you know his selflessness and and his ability like he really wants to be coach which is is awesome you obviously had some remix guys you know work their way into it with Chris you know Justin you know Alex is on the team you know what how big is this opportunity for him especially how he kind of finished the remix season last year for Reese yeah it’s awesome uh you know a big opportunity for him um he obviously brings shooting to the table which we we value here so I’m very excited for him thanks coach thanks everyone
