DeMar DeRozan to the Kings πŸ‘€ Woj breaks down the 3-team sign-and-trade | SportsCenter

sound the alarms Kev because we have some NBA news the Kings have agreed to assign in trade that will see Sacramento acquire Demar D rozan from the Bulls in a three- team deal D rozan is going to get three-year $74 million deal keep in mind he averaged 24 points per game last season for the Bulls and he’s one of five players to average 20 points per game in each of his last 11 Seasons so it goes to Rosen LeBron Steph ad and Damien Lillard the kings are acquiring D rozan but the deal also means moving Harrison Barnes to the Spurs meno was then trading Chris Duarte two second round picks and cash to the Bulls as part of this deal as well and J rozan now gets to partner with dearen Fox and damont sabonis in Sacramento and then on Q because it is summer league look at who is there the newest King arriving at summer league in Sacramento Hi how are you nice to meet you I am the new guy W is not new to any of this he’s joining us now look how did this finally get to the Finish Line how did we get this done well I think the kings were the one team with real interest beyond their mid-level exception uh in Demar D rozan so they were pretty persistent in the last week of trying to get Chicago engaged in this sign and trade listen when you trade for Demar D rozan especially as he’s about to turn 35 you are trading for offense he can still score the ball you have certainly seen his defense tier rate as he’s gotten older but this is still a 24 25 point a game score the Kings look at the West they see other teams improving and you know they moved Harrison Barnes out who played significant role in getting this team back into the postseason but they still believe the rozan has you know some good basketball left in him and now he’ll take center stage with you know dearon Fox sabonis and and this is a team in Sacramento that wants to get out of the play in and back into the playoffs they’re banking on three years 74 Million worth of offense that’s w try IBA [Music] [Applause]

Adrian Wojnarowski joins Nicole Briscoe on SportsCenter to discuss the Sacramento Kings acquiring DeMar DeRozan in a three-team trade with the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs that also sees Harison Barnes head to San Antonio.

  1. Not to mention that they get his daughter in the draft.Screaming in the stands, screwing up opposing teams, free throwsπŸ˜‚

  2. seemed like a Rush move but also tells me that the Jazz must be asking for stupid for Lauri like a Rudy level haul. Because Lauri wouldve been a much better fit for the Kings. Fox Kevin Demar Keegan and Sabs seem good but unless Keegan takes a huge step theres an issue Sabs doesnt like to play like a big they still need a rim protector.

  3. DeMar is still back in Cali. Surprised Sacramento doesn’t attract that many stars. Barnes on the Spurs was a lowkey good addition.

  4. lefraud James turned the Lakers into a small market…NO ONE wants to play with the fake king….he truly ruined the Lakers….turned them into a joke

  5. Monk, Fox and De Rozan. De Rozan can score but not sure how he'll help the Kings get past all the other teams on the West.

  6. Honestly if you look at the Bulls historically they are a terrible organization. They got lucky with Michael Jordan in the 90's. Before him they were garbage and since 1998 they've been garbage.

  7. That's actually a good look for DeMar, and I can't believe I'm saying this in this inflated era of professional sports, but great contract deal as well. Well-earned.

  8. Wait what in tf is happening, how is Emmanuel Quickly valued more than Derozan and Dejounte Murray combined?!

  9. Rob Pelinka has actually done a good job. He's developing Reaves, Christie, and made a good pick with Knecht. The issue is that the highest paid player on the team is a 40-year-old loudmouth buffoon who clogs up 55M in salary per year, handpicks the head coaches, forces his son on the team and who nobody wants to play with.

  10. "They believe that DeMar DeRozan has some good basketball left in him."

Dude just finished averaging 25-5-5 his last 3 years in CHI…like he's deteriorating or something πŸ˜‚
