yeah uh well first off just first day some really practice how’d it go it it was good good energy um it was nice to just kind of play five on five again it’s been a while and just getting some good bump and um just get up and down the court was it was uh it was fun and ready to do it for the next couple weeks what are some of the things that maybe you’ve been working on leaning up into this uh just my body working on that uh working on my shot um my finishing just kind of everything just kind of just trying to be an all around player and um U seen strides this this offseason um it’s g g given me a lot of confidence going to summer league how much do you put on you you look bigger probably like close to like five to 10 good pounds I think so yeah I feel good it’s probably the leanest I’ve ever been strongest I’ve ever been so um I’m I’m happy about it just keep it going what’s different this time around for summer league and honestly why did you want to do summer league this year uh just to get the Reps I mean like what better place to do it I mean you’re getting you’re playing against a lot of guys here trying to prove themselves in the league so it’s going to be good competition it’s going to help help my confidence too just work on everything that I’ve been doing um in this offseason so um for me it’s just Ian it’s fun too like last year I kind of went into it after pre-draft uh it kind of just a crazy quick process moving across country and everything so now I’ve been in Portland for like the whole offseason I’m just kind of grounded got my routine um and it’s the main focus is just summer league and uh being getting ready for that I think the most important thing we got to ask you about did you and Denny work out some sort of deal for the number is that why he changed it or yeah I wasn’t married to the number eight or anything and he wanted eight to come in he’s he’s a good guy and just wanted him to you know feel welcome come in Portland and um he won number eight and he got it so right now I’m just kind of searching for what number I want I’m not married to number 10 but if it looks good on me I mean we’ll we’ll keep it you going see if maybe Justin can work something out to let you go back to your college number yeah Justin’s my boy so I don’t know we’ll see but maybe yeah no 24 gave me a lot of good Juju I’d say in college I your first uh impressions of of Donovan or just your impressions of him playing at here uh fives for the first time or maybe not for the first time but at least in an official setting yeah I mean he’s he’s a he’s a heck of a player um he’s tall runs the floor well um I mean today he shot the ball really well which is cool to see um he helps a lot just with spacing and everything he can he can guard multiple positions um he’s can help us space the floor and I think he’s going to be you’ll see you’ll see in suly but he’s he’s a really talented player and um just excited to play with him I do share your thoughts on Rion as well um Rion since you’re thetic guy who’s actually had some experience with these guys uh yeah RS I mean he’s he’s gone gotone a lot better I worked out with him a little bit um in many camps uh back here and um it’s just cool to see his progress and how he’s gone from last summer to during the season to now and um he’s just playing with a lot of confidence so you can definitely tell so I’m excited for him how are the dogs the dogs are good uh got two dogs um um got to get one neutered pretty soon but they’re doing good a lot of energy um yeah those are those are my they’re my guys and um I love them guys are getting neutered yeah not anymore they’re going to hate me for it but it happens yeah appreciate it thank you
