Denver Nuggets Might Trade Zeke Nnaji

yo what’s going on it is time to talk about those Denver Nuggets my girlfriend’s favorite team now Zeke nanji as you guys know if they were to trade for Russell Westbrook basically the only player that they will seemingly would trade is zek nji as they went out not only brought back DeAndre Jordan but interestingly enough this was a team that they went out and they got themselves donon Holmes which in my opinion basically means goodbye zek nji because Don Holmes can play the center position he’s he’s a center but he could play the power forward position plus they have Michael Porter Jr who can whenever they need Aaron Gordon to sit down can play the power forward position and they can you know besides that I guess you could say they can go small ball with Christian Brown or PNE Watson or Harden Tyson or Julian strawther if both Gordon and Porter were sitting but Zeke Naji making like $8.8 million is the guy who seems to be the most likely to be traded even if they don’t trade for Russell Westbrook but it seems like Russell Westbrook is going to be the guy they need to backup point guard Russell Westbrook at this point in his career it would be their six-man he’s a guy who can score with ease additionally he’s a guy who when you watch him play he’s a guy who we’ve seen repeatedly have success in ter terms of being someone who can really put the ball down and play really good defense as well as be someone who yes I know someone’s going to be like oh he’s a head case this and that but I think time and time again like he’s someone who can still create for others he can rebound well when he’s locked in he’s fantastic he additionally is a really good Defender I just think for $4 million he saved money on on the luxury tax bill and I think it’ll get you actually below the apron and you get like a Hall of Famer I know some people are going like I don’t know why Russell has so much hate but zek nanji at this point yeah he’s this big old 7 footer you can play power forward in center but like he barely played last year he had like three points a game and two rebounds and I just we don’t really know what he is and you know the Clippers the backup cers a somebody that I think they would like they I I know there’s actually a possibility that you could trade if they want to pay more on the luxury tax bill or if they wanted to trade a few contracts they could actually get PJ Tucker and Russell Westbrook just straight up for Zeke Naji I mean obviously they would have to pay a ton of money on the luxury tax or they could package a few of the guys that they’ve drafted but besides that I think just trading Zeke for Russell Westbrook another I’m trying to think of another guy that they could go out and get again I think they fixed their front Court I think they want a point guard could tus Jones be someone that they go after a three-year deal but I don’t know what you would do what would that deal even look like uh Zeke Zeke is making eights and tyus Jones is a guy I think he’s going back to Washington at this point but your assumption is maybe use you use him in a s in trade for a a guy for point a backup point guard because I think that’s the one position you need like somebody you don’t have a backup point guard you traded Reggie Jackson and I I think as we look at the markets it’s it’s not pretty and I’m not saying that they have the I think Zeke’s the only guy you could really use to try to to go out and get yourself somebody I mean would you sign in trade for marel folz I don’t think Orlando needs anyone so what if Memphis signs and trade Pat Bev to Denver threeyear $9 million deal basically a minimum deal and you send zek nji there because they’re trying to trade Brook Lopez and they save a bunch of money because then they’ll allow them I mean I think it’s pretty dumb another example is like I guess the same thing that Cameron pay to be a back said Zeke to be a backup to Joel embiid but I think they’re good there same idea would be Jordan Goodwin to sign him to that three year9 million minimum deal something along those lines send him an assigning tra send Zeke an assigning trade to Memphis who is a guard who can play on or off ball and it’s a good defensive guy you know get a little bit of scoring for each other outside of that I don’t think Detroit cares for anything like that and for a Malachi Flynn I don’t think Patty Mills with Miami is gonna do anything like that so outside of deals like that I just don’t see one happening because of how the the point guard Market is just baren and I don’t think tus Jones is going to take such little money I don’t think Kyle I think Kyle Lowry just wants to kick it back Hull in Philly so for me that that that’s a done deal I I really think it’s the LA one and maybe they find a third team to dump see naji’s contract

The Denver Nuggets are considering trading Zeke Nnaji, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto. Nnaji’s potential and versatility make him an attractive trade asset as the Nuggets look to make strategic roster adjustments.

  1. yo zeke nnaji might get a 2nd round pick at best he cant shoot the 3, and doesnt put up stats that make him look like anything more than an end of the bench player. he is also in the final year of his contract making 7.5 million and needs to be paid after this season.

they may have to give up a 2nd round pick to dump his salary.

  2. Denver will have to send assets. That contract is bad…

Any trade with an apron type team will need a 3rd team to take his salary.

  3. Well. Oh well.
Nuggets Owners and FO/GM just few weeks ago said:
Jeff Kroenke: "when you have the best player in the world (Nikola Jokic) – you need to go for it. We owe him that".
Calvin Booth: "I'm the steward of Jokic's prime".
And this is where Nuggets are at this point. Nuggets made ZERO acquisitions/trades and now the pool of available talent has dwindled down to 35yo Russ and couple of others that NO ONE WANTS.
TBH – Russ is not stupid, he's on the outside and he can see the Nuggets clearly – he's not coming there. And even the others – they'll be picked up by other piss-poor franchises. Not the Nuggets.
It's not inconceivable to expect Nuggets to end up with 4 (FOUR) open roster spots after the deadline.
Yep. That's how bad Nuggets Owners/FO/GM are.
Nuggets GM right now is in Europe (FA deadline) – trying to somehow retain Cancar (who's terrible and will be of no use – but cheap), get someone called "Saric" (that no one wants) and MOSTLY – appease Jokic and his agent who are FURIOUS. Calvin Booth is there to make a "grand gesture" about how Nuggets/He support Jokic and Serbia in the Olympics… It doesn't get more pathetic than that.

It's unfortunate that Jokic is in the Denver Nuggets. I can't imagine him being happy for being LIED TO by the cheap ownership, incompetent FO and the dumb scapegoat GM (Kroenkes picked Booth exactly for that purpose – to be the fall guy for what they wanted to do).

At this point – even trading Zeke out (no one wants that contract and Nuggets have nothing to [zero picks left, no cash] pay for getting rid of it) for anyone available (hard to imagine) would not give Jokic anything of value to play with.

It's hard to imagine (NBA historians jump in here) a franchise that failed so badly after just winning the championship. In short year – Nuggets LOST 3 major championship contributors, 7 picks, couple of other guys from the 3rd string – and GOT NOTHING to replace any of it.

    It's almost mind boggling.

Nuggets eco-system is complaining about the CBA (trying to find excuses for and justify the incredibly embarrassing owners+FO+GM) – but that's simply a LIE. Owners and GMs in the league were the DRIVING FORCE behind the new CBA – and Nuggets Owners/GM/FO were in all discussions about it for about 2+ years now.

But – everything gets much more CLEAR and LOGICAL – when we consider that Kroenkes are in the midst of talks about SELLING the Nuggets franchise. Not many people got the wind of it – but it's true. Kroenkes are looking at capitalizing the title and the fact that Jokic is under a long term contract – and are hoping for a windfall on their initial investment. That's all this is about. That's why this "incredible" situation is happening – in order to close the deal Kroenkes can't spend any money and have to limit their costs, commitments, liabilities.

That's all this is about. Handful of (hundred million) bucks. In profit.

Jokic and Raznatovic are aware of this – and I expect we'll hear from them soon. Most likely in the form of them demanding a TRADE for Jokic.

    Nuggets are done.

  4. They gotta pay to get rid of him at this point, so they'll try to increase his value if he stays healthy for once and have Zeke play the 4 more because he is never going to have strong enough hands for the paint.

His health is something not many talk about, he can't get consistent minutes because he gets hurt so he can't learn. Some team if they give him the right role will find a gem.
