Victor Wembanyama finished his summer league debut with 9 pts, 8 reb, 3 ast and 5 blk on 2-13 from the field. He got dunked on by Kai Jones, crossed over by Brandon Miller, and struggled to find his shot in a win over the Hornets. He was even referred to as “Booty Gobert” by a Ringer staffer.

Nah man. According to some of the people on this sub, Dalton is already ass.
Both Dalton and Bronny got some nice looks that were a little long or a little short. I’m not too worried on the shots falling.
Bigger issue to me is that they clearly don’t have an offense installed and no real point guard in that starting lineup lol Knecht and Bronny aren’t necessarily the best off the ball shot creators. Knecht’s best looks were catch and shoot 3s. East is a good story but we should start Kuhse hes more natural as a passer.
I can’t even imagine the pressure of your first NBA league game — the adrenaline must be crazy. It’s also the reason why I love watching summer league ball. There is immense pressure on a lot of these guys on the floor who are trying desperately to prove themselves in every possible way.
Eye test was great for victor. So far you can see the flashes in Dalton. Bronny on the other hand looks like the 55th pick based on of course one game.

I’m more concerned with if they are taking good shots, making good plays, and looking comfortable in the flow of the game rather than if their shot is falling right now. I’m quite confident that Knecht’s shot will come around so I’m not worried about him.
