Reacting to Dejounte Murray Traded to Pelicans!

[Music] Big Skinny with yo what’s up YouTube It’s Z AKA Lil Red we got the Hawks trading dejon Murray finally but he goes to the Pistons uhuh the Pelicans are moving Larry Nan Jr and two first round picks to the Hawks for dejon Murray a lot of people 3.7 million people probably seen this and be like that’s it Larry Nance for Deonte Murray yes they get two first round picks but Larry Nance but then it was reported later that New Orleans is also sending Dyson Daniels to Atlanta as well Larry Nance Dyson Daniels alone in my opinion is intriguing for the Atlanta Hawks because Dyson Daniels is a very underrated player he is a very young player and Larry NZ Jr I still believe in him I seen some potential of him being a stretch big who could rebound so that is valuable in today’s game it’s just a matter of using them the right way they get two really good defensive players and that’s what the Atlanta Hawks need on top of that they’re getting two first round picks which probably aren’t going to be good because now we got to talk about the Pelicans the Pelicans now have Deonte Murray and CJ McCollum which finally fixed the biggest problem I think they had and that was the lack of the point guard on their team the CJ is not a point guard we’ve seen him at his best in Portland as a two guard so I’m happy he finally gets slided or slid back into that position now the big question is where is Brandon Ingram going because we know that contract extension is not going to happen but before that even happens just take a look at this roster this is an elite four but the problem is Brandon Ingram is most likely not going to stay right at least that’s what we’re thinking and they still have Trey Murphy and Herb Jones this team is really nice they still have Jose Alvarado Off the Bench this team just got a lot more dangerous and now I think they could get an even even bigger return for Brandon Ingram and build this team and kind of rebuild those assets they just got rid of to get to Jon Murray so both teams I think won the trade I know a lot of people were like who won who lost I don’t think either team lost this this is a win-win scenario kind of reminds me of like the Tyrese halberton and the um sabonis trade for the Kings and the Pacers it kind of helped both teams and I think this is like the same type of situation also just reported that Russell Westbrook is expected to leave the Clippers in free agency and they’re saying he’s not expected to even be in a Clippers uniform next season so he wants plain time and in increased opportunity I like it um there has been reports of the Clippers interest in guards like Chris Paul and Kyle Lowry to reinforce the idea that they are going to replace him okay where you guys think Brody’s going to end up next year where would you where do you think he would be best at is he finally going to Miami and also also at this time of the video there is a strong mutual interest between the Dallas Mavericks and Klay Thompson that is a rumor how am I feeling about that that that’s interesting Luca clay and Kyrie sounds like a really good Trio that’s actually very interesting I think that’s a good good spot for him what do you guys think Warriors fans how you guys feeling about Klay Thompson potentially being on the Mavericks Mavericks fans how do you guys feel about that scenario so this is the final um look at the trade to 2025 first round pick which is next season and then a 2027 um the Pelicans I don’t know if that is the Lakers swap or not I don’t know if you could trade swaps which I don’t think it looks like it so Pelicans still have that first round pick next season which is why they traded this one away they traded this one oh yeah they the Pelicans traded their 2025 pick away because they’re getting the Lakers 2025 pick um 2027 I’m not sure if they have another one but hey Pelicans looking nice their future looks really good we’ve seen them in the playing tournament they already look good and then they’re adding a backcourt Defender and a true point guard into jonay Murray which is the one position I think that they were lacking the most I think that’s going to unlock CJ we’re going to see a big season for CJ McCollum and I think the Pelicans are on the right track the next news that we’re going to be looking out for is not the Klay Thompson the Paul George it’s the Brandon Ingram I think that’s what’s coming next um but Clay is trending so what are you guys thinking how you guys feeling about this jeon Murray trade to the New Orleans Pelicans did the Hawks lose win who won or loss or is it good for both teams this is Zay peace [Music]
