  1. Dalton’s tweets just before this one:

    > Something to monitor: Steph Curry keeps looking down at his right hand and rubbing finger during Team USA’s scrimmage. He’s still playing but he’s looking down at it whenever he gets a chance. [Source](https://x.com/daltonj_johnson/status/1810055073059496298?s=46)

    > When Jrue Holiday checked on Steph, Curry only used his left hand. He and Steve Kerr talked right after at half court. [Source](https://x.com/daltonj_johnson/status/1810056147665314202?s=46)

Edit to add another, which given what we know about Kerr injury speak makes me a bit nervous even though the intent is surely to make people feel better:

    > I asked Steve Kerr about Steph Curry monitoring his right hand and he says there’s nothing to worry about too much right now. [Source](https://x.com/daltonj_johnson/status/1810058812403118334?s=46)

[A couple of videos](https://x.com/daltonj_johnson/status/1810054298098679950?s=46) where you can see him repeatedly going to hold his finger during the scrimmage. 😣

Update from [Dalton](https://x.com/daltonj_johnson/status/1810065487558267175?s=46): Just asked Steph about this. He smirked and said “I had a little blood.” Steph held the mic in his right hand during his media session and appears to be in good spirits

Now Steph, you better not be pulling a broken tailbone and lying to us lol because Steve’s “nothing to worry about too much *right now*” does not sound like something you say about a little blood on your finger.

Never forget when he dropped 30 in the second half on a fucked up finger to eliminate the Rockets without KD

Yeah okay we knew this was gonna happen why didn’t we Wiggins him out of the Olympics 🤦‍♂️

Sigh…seeing demar go to the kings…Klay left us. Idk I always believe in Curry but feeling like hes gonna have the arch of Kobes last years on trash teams. Fuckkk

Oh cmon, i hope its not that bad, first kd now this, this usa team needs reserves before the final lineup

  6. of course this isn’t great news but I feel like the way he’s holding it and rubbing it over with his shirt makes me think it’s a blister, cut or similar rather than a sprain type of injury. obviously the pics and videos aren’t close enough but just the body language reminds me of when you have a cut on your hand.

Dang another tank year for a high draft pick and then run it back next year?

I’m never a fan of players from my teams playing in world competitions due to injury possibilities. Hopefully it’s pretty minor.

I’m praying it’s just like when a nail grows in on itself and you have to trim it

  11. If Curry’s hurt for the olympics then it’s done for Team USA

  12. quirkycurlygirly

Unrelated but why the hell does Team USA have all these damned spectators and cameras in there? Why are they giving other nations film? Get those people outta there! We shouldn’t even know about Steph’s finger!
