that is right you guys the Phoenix Suns 2024 summer league roster has been officially announced now quick disclaimer before we get started you guys I am just going to read you guys the more notable names on this list in my opinion you guys can pause the video and check out the full roster for yourself so let’s go ahead and dive right into it and let’s start off with the Phoenix Suns players who are currently under contract David Rody is on this list he was the 23rd pick in the first round in the 20 22 NBA draft don’t forget you guys the Suns traded for him at the NBA trade deadline and I believe that Royce O’Neal was a part of that three team trade as well also the Phoenix Suns 2024 NBA draft picks Ryan Dunn and Oso igodo I am excited to see both of those guys in action I want to see what they can do against NBA level Talent also undrafted but signed on a two-way deal is Jaylen Bridges who I am also excited to see and we’re going to talk about Jaylen Bridges here in a little bit and to round out the more notable names in my opinion are buo buoy Tyrie Samuel and Isaiah Wong and a player who is surprisingly not on this list and I’m probably going to get his last name wrong because I always do is col Gillespie who is also on a 2A spot with the Phoenix Suns not on the roster for some reason despite only having one year of NBA experience under his belt however he is an NBA champion so you know that’s pretty cool now let’s talk about Jaylen Bridges real quick and I want to read you guys a quote from Benjamin Yu from last word on Sports who goes on to say and I quote Jaylen Bridges enters the 2024 NBA draft as a prospect who has the potential to be a three in D Wing due to his shooting and defensive upside coupled with his High basketball IQ and competitiveness as a player Bridges has the traits of what a good role player should be close quote and let’s talk about boo booby real quick who is northwestern’s all-time leading scorer and is on an exhibit 10 deal with the Phoenix Suns this past season he averaged 19 points per game five assists shooting 43.4% from three this past season all career bests and he will have a chance to compete for a two-way slot now a player that I don’t know that much about but I am excited to see what he can do is Florida’s Tyree Samuel who also signed an exhibit 10 deal with the Phoenix Suns Samuel averaged nearly 14 points per game and 7.4 rebounds and earned second Team all SEC honors in 2023 24 also there is a story about him which is in my description box down below and let’s talk about Isaiah Wong who is a 6’4 guard who spent most of last season with the Indiana Mad Ants of the NBA G league and he averaged 17.7 points per game and 3.8 assists over 15 showcase Cup games and as Evan sideri writes the Pacers did not extend a qualifying offer to Isaiah Wong who has since joined the sun summer league roster he goes on to write that Wong was the number 55 overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft and now has the opportunity to potentially land on Phoenix’s new g-league team the valley Suns and also shout out to Sam Cooper from the timeline podcast who tweeted out earlier that he is guessing based on nothing that we could see a starting lineup of boo buoy Jaylen Bridges Ryan Dunn David Rody and Oso uodo let me know what you guys think about that down below in the comments now again you guys there’s probably like five or six players on this roster who I failed to talk about so if you are a college B expert or you have a lot of information on these guys please get active in the comment section and educate me on some of these players because I’ll be real with you guys I not a draft expert I am not a college basketball expert but I am really excited to see what a lot of these guys can do for the Phoenix Suns summer league team so as always thank you guys so much for watching my name is Brandon AKA Suns geek and if it has to deal with the Phoenix Suns I’m going to make a video about it make sure to Hulk smash that like button and please subscribe thank you guys so much for watching win or lose Phoenix Suns for life and I’ll see you guys next time go Suns SS good appreciate [Music] what’s up son [Music]
