ingram is 2+ 1sts. missi is another 1st.
so we probably add another 1st in the deal.
but going all in on Ingram (who we’ll have to overpay in the off-season btw) whilst having a rookie center wouldn’t make sense.
Pelicans have like no suitors left for Ingram. he’s not gonna go for as much as people might think. main fact is that he’s expiring and looking for a contract he’s not worth (50+M)

Probably a hot take but: Jakob Poeltl contributes to more wins on this team than Brandon Ingram would

This would be a good deal for us and I hate it still

This would make the team significantly worse. If you’re trading Yak, you need a similar caliber or better replacement in return. Unless you’re planning on tanking for the entire season. Which I don’t think the fan base would tolerate to be honest. Last year was bad enough.

Why in the world are we trading picks in a rebuild

This is a bad trade for both sides

I’ve been posting versions of this trade for a few weeks. it’s an unpopular trade in raps nation but I’m a big fan of BI. the contract part is a valid concern but I could see BI build his value similar to RJ. Scottie is a few years out from his prime so I don’t mind giving some runaway to BI, RJ, IQ and Gradey to develop and see what Scottie turns in to and what fits around him. At that point, hopefully raps can flip some iteration of those assets in to what is needed around whatever Scottie becomes. Trading Jak will probably help the tank too. Bring back Bruno in his stead to help the tank while we at it! 😁

The team would be amazing with Ingram if Missi can actually play center.

And we’re giving away a 1st rounder? They wish 😅. They need to get off of Ingram’s contract!

How does this help either teams in a rebuild or compete?
