Los Angeles Clippers signed derck Jones Jr to a threeyear $30 million deal so derck Jones Jr had a very solid season helping the Mavs get to the NBA finals and obviously they fell short and now with Paul George most likely leaving the clippies they found his replacement in Derek Jones Jr so last season he didn’t show a lot of stats but in terms of defense and impacting the game that’s what he’s going to bring to this Clipper team 8.6 points a game 3.3 rebounds one assist 1.1 threes and 48% from the field so Derek Jones Jr definitely improved his three-point shooting last season he pretty much was a player on a minimum deal last year now to get 10 million a year is definitely a big bump up and he played a good season like I mentioned is Derek Jones and now he’ll fit right in with James Harden kawi lard over there as the big guys and Russell Westbrook if they keep him obviously if they don’t trade him away this off season so Derek Jones in terms of fantasy basketball he’s a late round flyer at best still like I said scoring is not a main thing for Jones even even though his three-point shot definitely improved last season Harden and kawh wner were going to be the top two scorers on this Los Angeles clipp of roster so Derek Jones Jr as a real life move I like it obviously the clip is they didn’t have that big stopper on defense at times especially when kawi Leonard was out and you know Lenard’s bound to miss games every season with chronic knee problem throughout his NBA career so Derek Jones Jr who was a priority coming into the offseason for the Mavs to resign they couldn’t get it done so they won win Naji Marshall and the Los Angeles Clippers land Derek Jones Jr we’ll see if you can help this Clipper team and possibly have some fantasy value went in the 2024 25 season
