summer league roster reaction the Oklahoma City Thunder are taking action tonight I believe it’s their first game uh just want to do a quick roster thoughts video because there are some pretty interesting names here for us I don’t know how good this Thunder team is going to be this summer league I don’t know that they necessarily sent a group of guys that’s like trying to compete and win but there’s a lot of young intriguing names so we’ll see what you think here buddy beheim Clarence Daniels Usman Jen Alex ducas Adam Flagler Jack gki keante Johnson Dylan Jones Kyler Kelly Miller cop mevie Leons Hunter Maldonado AJ Mitchell former non- Michigan Target Trey Mitchell cormack Ryan Jaden Shackleford jquan Walton and KJ Williams uh for those math experts out there that’s 18 guys I don’t think all these guys are going to play but I’m intrigued what’s your what’s your thoughts uh 18 guys as way too many let’s let’s go ahead and get that out there right now um with that said I think that this is I don’t like the roster constru I hate being like critical of Summer League roster construction but I don’t like it why are there so many guys that are the same like if you want to see like what AJ like I want to see what AJ Mitchell can do but is AJ Mitchell gonna play over other guys like they’ve been playing Jaden Shackleford on their on their team for like years I feel like yeah true true yeah I don’t know there a lot of point guards I want to see AJ Mitchell play like I want to like I just don’t know I just don’t know how this team necessarily fits I guess that’s being critical at the same time there’s like some intriguing things I like this like Jack Goki possibly doing something like hitting a bunch of three like you could go like a a we could possibly watch a summer league lineup with Jack GOI and Miller cop playing together and I’m sure that’ll excite a lot of people some people maybe maybe not me there will be some people that get excited yeah this is uh wait oh Ancor MC Ryan sorry that’s like the three-headed just like Caucasian Horseman of Shooters yeah we we love white boys with some to them like we always say that uh this is team white boys without some to them that’s who this is it’s Buddy baheim Miller cop cormack Ryan and Jack Oki uh Jack Oki is like actually good some of these dudes are good but like come on what what are we doing um it makes sense like when I look at this roster step back broadly this roster makes sense to me like how it became what it is because Oklahoma City’s real team is so like Talent loaded and like starter competition ready level like they only have needs for role players so they’re not like working out future Superstars they’re working out guys who are like who’ be the 12th guy in the NBA they just have 18 guys who could be the 12th guy so with that said I already know how this is going to go down how’s it gonna go a buddy Bayon is gonna get a contract isn’t he it could happen it’s gonna happen isn’t it I don’t like it I like but like Trey Mitchell’s a guy like I I’m happy to see him get a chance I think like Dylan Jones we know we’re rooting for him I love that quote he gave Keon Johnson like I would love to see him land with a team um who out of everyone on this list who do you think is the most likely to like get shut down and not play because they’re not going to play all 18 guys like get shut down and not play because they’re too good or just like not get on the floor probably because they’re too good like who do you think I I think there’s one guy here that they might just not ever play like he’s on the roster and he’s not gonna even be on the court Dylan Jones Usman Jang my I I don’t think he’s gonna play I think he’s just like on the roster but they’re not gonna play him is he like one of those guys that like he’s been on the team for a while they want him to go to summer league and be like the leader yeah like be be our vet but everybody else is like we don’t need a vet we’re 2 five you know we don’t need a that we that makes sense can we bring back my favorite new segment uh who that guy please Carter who that guy Kyler Kelly mevie Leons who that guy yeah not sure and I’m pretty good at guessing these players and teams I would have never guessed these guys whatsoever Kyler Kelly went to all he’s born in 97 so he’s a little bit older he played that he’s a seven-footer from Oregon State I do not know who that man is I’m sorry who that guy I don’t know I yeah I don’t know we don’t need 18 man rosters with Kyler Kelly and mevy Leons on it like let’s let’s let’s stop there let’s cut the charade do you think this team will be good yes or no no who do you start if you’re the coach what five I’m gonna start I’m gonna start AJ Mitchell I’m gonna start uh AJ Mitchell God I this roster is so hard to pick who have hit there’s also no bigs like there’s no yeah like is my big Trey Mitchell KJ Williams okay I’m G start KJ Williams at Center on this team I’mma start Dylan Jones at the I’m start Dylan Jones beheim and keay Johnson okay yuck uh yeah I don’t feel good about that whatsoever I’m going to start AJ Mitchell and Hunter Maldonado Maldonado feels like a guy who like you could bet his player props in summer league and he crushes them constantly like oh like if I could get points rebound assists from Mado i’ Hammer over I’m gon start AJ Mitchell Hunter Maldonado Jack gki Usman Jen and ah Dylan Jones I guess run small ball run super small ball but gross this is a I’m out out on the Thunder thumber leue roster
