Jordi’s coaching staff was a huge indicator a rebuild was on the horizon.
Sean Marks built Mikal’s value up, after he came off that terrible season labeling him an “untouchable” to get suitors to pay a hefty price and it worked! Getting 6 First Round Picks, your own 2nd round pick (which could be essentially a late FRP) an $19M expiring contract while creating a $23M trade exception for a 28 year old role player was top notch amazing work. Kudos to Sean Mark and his team.

Because over the last 3 months it’s been a Bridges trade would never happen to well obviously it was always possible even our new coach knew but some scoopers have said that Jordi was initially surprised by the trade. Either way it was best for Jordi to be able to rebuild properly, he deserved it.
