all right go ahead guys how you doing how great is the jayen to finally be cleared finally to get back into game action yeah n it’s just it’s a blessing man I’m ready to get ahead and do like these next three 4 days of training camp and go ahead get to Las Vegas keep the playing again it’s been she’s probably like 14 15 months so it feels great to be back out there you like training camp you have your personal training camp yeah for sure it’s just more like excitement when you get something taken away from you that you love doing every day it just leaves you questioning a whole bunch of stuff so to be able to be out back out there and playing how I played prior it feels great when were you officially clear oh I don’t know I’ve been playing for a minute so like I just went on Instagram yesterday and saw the official clearance but I don’t know when I was like official official we just kind of progressed and I progressed really good I’ve been playing ones and stuff last year while the season was still going on so that’s what I was thinking I mean could you have played in Iowa like early marchish like nah I wasn’t ready in March I really started like playing playing again in like late April May what did you learn watching this team chance to be oh a whole bunch uh it’s just learning how to fit into the system when I look at us we don’t need no more scoring we got we didn’t paid ant cat uh Nas we even I mean Jaden when he gets going he can score the hell out the ball it’s just finding a role and where you fit in I think if I defend at a high level rebound and knock down got an open shot every now and then I’ll be able to get spot minutes and those spot minutes lead into bigger roles so what do you hope to accomplish both here in Vegas uh just reestablishing myself as like the best defender out like in my class age wise everything I can guard way bigger than what I am and I improved my jump shot a whole bunch so trying to go out there and break a steel record like I did at my college so how many different positions can you guard uh out here it’s weird cuz like I know Anthony Davis is a four and we don’t have nobody like that out here but like out here right now like summer league probably one through five but in the season I really don’t know it depends who the other bigs are really but even in Vegas you can guard some fives yeah in Vegas for sure I yeah Vegas for sure no doubt so defense is kind of your path that you see to get rotation minutes th% 1,000% and when you look at a team that had the accomplishments this team had is that motivating or is it little d because you know there are so many good players ahead of you right now nah you got to love competition man I feel like if you ever run from it it’s going to come find you in a different place I like to being leveled off at with the top players and the cream of the crop always Rises so you had a great fet like Mike Connelly on his team can you just speak to what that relationship was last year man he’s like one of the best people I’ve ever met like how he treats everybody I’m pretty sure y’all talked to him he respects everybody he does everything the right way he’s always on time he’s never late always has a great posit positive attitude never gets out of character doesn’t call no one out their name like just how to be a allaround good person he shows me how that translates to his game he’s one of the most consistent players you know exactly what you’re going to get from him every night he’s never too high never too low he’s a great guy for a group of guys like us Rob um T Shannon and everybody to be able to sit up under and watch and just gain from any other questions appreciate it thanks we’re going toing
