summer league roster reaction the Philadelphia 76ers roster has been announced I believe they’re getting in action tonight on Monday night uh interesting group of guys and by interesting I mean incredibly boring for the most part but we’ll see if you feel any differently uh I’m just going to read through the names this is sorted by the number they’re wearing I think so kind of a random order Jeff dton Jr Ricky Council David Jones Justin Edwards Jared McCain RJ Hampton Kev Aluma Darius d ADM Bona Tony Bradley Romeo Langford Justin Powell Max feedler Judah minz Jordan Tucker Jaylen SS Judah Mintz Jud mint I love some Judah Mintz cart that’s about the only thing I love on this team uh you seen that uh that like the polar bear meme where it’s like in the middle of the road like what’s he doing here yep are we gonna address like why Tony Bradley and RJ Hampton are on this roster I mean RJ Hampton feels like a he should get an automatic summer league invite every year guy to me he should always be there anything that’s being played in Las Vegas RJ Hampton should be allowed to attend okay I okay I agree gotta let that go yep you’re right um look th this roster is a little eh little um obviously Jared McCain being there is good I am intrigued to see what Justin Edwards can do um for this team just being being he was a highly rated guy um and kind of kind of seeing what he can do outside of that not much Intrigue on this roster I’d say like McCain Edwards and that’s it maybe Mintz in there I wouldn’t even throw a Demona in there because I feel like a Demona actually know what he’s going to be able to do in this I actually think a Dem bone is g to be very very uh productive in summer league just given like his his energy and what he does in settings like this yeah being an energy big that like just runs around and dunks feels like you can be productive for sure yeah like Bona might average like 10 and 10 at minimum in this yeah it could happen if especially if they want him to like if they feature him like that uh can’t believe like you went through the old guys who shouldn’t be here and you ignored Romeo Langford why why are we sting so many old guys to this like these guys have had chances and they just aren’t good I don’t get what the 76ers are doing like it doesn’t feel like they put a lot of effort into this like there were some teams you can clearly put a lot of thought into this the Sixers feel like they just took what ever they could get well Greg they they had to make a video for Tyrese Maxi and this extension thing they had to they had to get Paul George’s signature and his number they gotta pump up some some uh Jo and be like they they don’t have the resources to put much into this roster they they draft to Jared McCain go make some Tik toks get some buckets and then like we’ll we’ll be fine they they should have some generational content in in their summer league if they play their cars right though yeah definitely um they also have like three guys who could be collecting Social Security by now so I don’t know um can I play who that guy please who that guy Max feedler who that guy so is I thought that Max Fiedler was the guy that played for Florida Gulf Coast I thought that Max feedler was the guy in Max Keebler’s new move and then I realized big it’s big move yeah I I don’t know I it’s been a while uh turns out both of us are wrong he’s from Rice where he played five years and averag nine points a game in Five Seasons should I be insulted I haven’t got a summer league invite I mean anytime you can get a guy who scored nine a game at rice in five years I feel like you gotta take a chance on is this Jordan Tucker the Jordan Tucker from Butler like the F like the fashion Nova model that played at Duke it is the Jordan Tucker from Butler what’s going on here man you’re the coach of this team uh what starting five are you putting out there David Jones from Memphis is on this team what the hell is this they really just pick names out of a hat um do they even have a point I guess I’m gonna put dton Jr as my point guard because I think he’s the only point guard that I’m looking at here um I’m gonna go DT J hey Judah Min he’s the only point guard in this roster here I’m going to go Jeff dton at the point I’m going to go Jared McCain at the two holy [ __ ] Jared McCain 62 I’m going to go [Music] um f it judan at the three and then what the hell David Jones at the four and and AD them Bona to five Bona feels like the only guy who guaranteed should start because you want him to like average a double dou Justin Edwards will probably start right I don’t know McCain and Bona for sure feel obvious and honestly when you start to lock in on just those guys and ignore all the gross peripheral guys like McCain and Bona is a fun summer league Duo so they could be kind of good uh if I were the coach of this team I would do something they definitely won’t do I would start five of the eight players on this roster whose first name start with Jay I would pick five of them so I’m thinking like a Judah Mintz a Justin Edwards a Jared McCain a Justin Powell and oh I guess it’s got to be Jaylen Sims and we got to go small that’s what I would do though I’d go the Five Js all Five Js do you think Jared McCain is gonna be good in summer league by the way no I think he to me and I’m not saying this says anything for his NBA career because I actually believe that he will be a good player but does he not have the makings of Summer League stinker oh my God like da da da slam like he has the makings of that yeah I can’t really tell cuz I I don’t remember a guy who was like a 40 points a game guy in college turned like shot it poorly at the combine guy but the jumper is the only thing you want him for like I I don’t know what to make of him like does he not play well in non-real basketball settings but if he does play well in real basketball settings wouldn’t he be good in summer league I can’t believe he got outshot by Ed it’s weird I don’t know but I mean he’s tough as nails so I guess we’ll see hate you so much
