the Atlanta Hawks they did not resign anybody they added Dyson Daniels and Larry Nance Jr in the dejon Murray trade they sent out AJ Griffin to Houston and Deonte Murray to New Orleans the Deon Murray trade failed the original trade was the Hawks received dejon Murray and jock Londale for Danilo galinari a 2023 first 2025 first a 26 pick Swap and a 2027 first the Hawks sent him to New Orleans for Larry n Jr Dyson Daniels EJ Liddell and two first the Lakers 25 first and the lower pick of Milwaukee or New Orleans in 2027 Larry n Jr will provide some big depth if Atlanta decides to move on from capella which from all reports seems likely he and Daniels should provide some real defensive fortification on the perimeter and the backline I don’t expect the Hawks to be done though they do have a solid 10 round rotation at this point I just don’t think that’s a good enough lineup to make the playoffs or really be a team destined for a top four pick in the 25 class we’ll see which direction they decide to head in
