yeah I mean my friendship with ant you know dates back to you know really getting drafted together they say the guys you get drafted with you know always bonded with and um you know we just kind of hit it off from the first time we played against each other and um you know we’ve grown really close over time and it’s been cool to share the for with them and to grow uh see both of us grow in the league together you know and I think us two being here is kind of the young the young faces the young guys on this team um both of us take a pride in in being that those young guys on the team and um a part of the future of the NBA moving forward so it’s really cool to be alongside him learn from from him and um you know just grow together and share the floors it’s always fun yeah I mean I I don’t even I don’t even have to ask him I know that we both is definitely an aspiration for both of us to play in multiple Olympics you know so we’re not taking this for granted by any means but um you know as as father time starts to creep in on these guys very very slowly um you know we’re sure that we uh we would definitely want to be part of that moving forward I mean that’s that’s the standard of USA basketball and that’s not ever going to change you know it’s it’s part of the honor of wearing this jersey and the privilege of wearing this jersey that that’s the the standard and you know I don’t think any of us would have it any other way we I think we all welcome that pressure and um it’s a lot of fun for us to come together you know as top guys in the NBA and share the four together cuz you know all of us we don’t get to share the floor together unless we’re you know the All-Star Game or whatever so it’s cool to actually compete for something real and play together uh just understanding the kind of the structure of how these days will go by um you know and understand it’s not like the NBA where you know you can smoke three games in a playoff series and still win there’s it doesn’t happen in this you know it’s one game it’s 40 minutes games officiated differently played differently um and I think having that experience really helped me um even playing the select team I played in the select team back in 21 before the you know before those Olympics and um you know just being a part of that has has played a big part in where I am today you’re the first for yeah yeah it’s really cool I’m I mean also a first guy from my hometown so uh it means a lot to me it’s definitely a privilege to put this jersey on and um you know to represent where I’ve come from how’s the team adjusting the ball well you know that the great thing about USA Basketball is they they send us these basketballs weeks in advance so most guys have put up enough shots with them they understand it it takes a little bit but but I mean we’re professionals we’ll be fine whatever whatever I’m asked to do um obviously I want to be on the floor I want to compete and help the team um but whatever I’m asked to do is is what I’ll do to to help us win I think that’s a great part about USA Basketball take sacrifice and guys got to come in and be ready to do whatever is asked to them to win gold medal yeah for sure I mean those are guys we see pretty consistently in the NBA and um the team that you know for me and Aunt being here last year that beat us in the the third place game so um it’ll be good to see some familiar faces and compete against them
