Really think we’re underestimating the impact CP3 had on his development
No guarantee he’d develop into the same player with us either since he would’ve been 2nd fiddle to Kawhi.
SGA was handed the reins after CP3 went to PhX. I think fans really underestimate the setting players are drafted in and develop in. Look at all the Lakers young players – they all flourished after leaving such a crappy situation. Look at Brunson – no way he becomes a confirmed number 1 option behind Luka.

Wouldn’t be the same player he raised today. Would he have been a good player? Absolutely. Would he have been a MVP finalist, probably or probably not.

Raps fan think the same thing, what if Kawhi just resigned for a 1+1…next season was in the Bubble majority of time and after that they played in Tampa…Kawhi could have avoided the cold…truth is nothing the Clippers could have done to get Kawhi without PG and nothing Raps could have done to keep him. Because if Clippers don’t meet all Kawhis demand he signs with Lebron/AD and the lakers who had a max spot and was waiting on him. Nothing Raps could of done because he wanted to be in LA his home no matter anything else.
