TRAE YOUNG IS MOSTLY TO BLAME FOR THE ATLANTA HAWKS DECLINE!
here’s my question for you phone lines are open 404- 726 929 here is the question who or what is the problem for our Atlanta Hawks is it the front office Landrew Fields Tony wrestler and company or is it Trey young I’ll give you my answer I’ll reset my thoughts and then I will hand all things over to you we as Hawks fans we have griped moaned complained and we have begged Tony wrestler to spend money to be aggressive in free agency we have wanted Lander fields to be aggressive make some Moves In free agency not only this year but in years past well let’s think about a a few things 2021 the Hawks make the Eastern Conference Finals what does Tony wrestler do after that season after being two wins away from an NBA Finals appearance well he signs Kevin herder Clint capella it wasn’t I don’t it wasn’t that offseason but eventually he does sign John Collins the point being after the 2021 season Tony wrestler the Hawks majority owner did what he had to do to make sure that 2021 Eastern Conference Finals Hawks team had the opportunity to run it back right we all remember that right okay next point 2022 comes around that 2021 team runs it back it’s underwhelming Hawks are outed by the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs the heat bombard Trey young they Hound him double team him every chance they get take the ball out his hands make sure he’s not the one that’s destroying the Miami Heat so we as Hawks fans are like that’s it we need another All-Star we need another Superstar started go next to Trey young what does Tony wrestler do well Trey young he says get me de jante Murray I want de jante Murray hand picks the jante Murray if you all remember right Travis schank the GM at the time he’s like I don’t know if I want to give up three first round picks to the San Antonio Spurs for the jonay Murray I don’t think it’s worth it I don’t think we should do it Tony Russell was like bump what you say my young star wants de jonte Murray we’re giving the San Antonio Spurs three first round picks to go get deante Murray and Travis sling if you don’t like it I’ll demote you so far down the totem pole you’ll go to the Washington Wizards so that’s what happens Travis schink a very good GM leaves by the way he’s the one that put that 2021 Eastern Conference Finals team together he leaves de jonay Murray comes in we hear hear about Trey young and how he’s going to play more off ball we think he’s going to be more like a Steph Curry running off the ball catch and shoot we like man this is going to be great Deonte Murray is a great defender as well he can make up for some of Trey Young’s liabilities in the back court on defense this is going to work and it’s going to be great this is what we needed right here this is the move we think Trey young again is going to play off ball make it work between him and his jonay Murray who we knew was more of a point guard coming in we were like Trey GNA play more off ball they’ll make it work Trey young wanted this he’ll make it work Deonte Murray is a New Orleans Pelican now and Trey young I watch the games you watch the games when Deonte Murray was here he didn’t play much off ball no he didn’t really seem like he tried that hard to make it work did he I don’t think so but Trey young wanted it Tony russler got it for him they sacrificed a good GM to make it happen Trey young didn’t make it work and then there’s this Trey young we all have talked about and have griped about it complained about as Hawks fans how he’s been snubbed from All-Star team snubbed as an All-Star starter he’s been up there in the fan vote top three over the last however many years but when it comes to the coach’s vote he don’t make the cut the athletic has put out Anonymous NBA player polls for a few years now in this past poll this year back in April he was the third highest in the NBA’s most overrated poll which is by the way voted by Anonymous NBA play

What’s good with you Dylan and it’s been a minute since you have been on and I don’t think it’s Trae fault and it’s more on the owner fault with the decisions that he makes.
Front Office
Honestly, I think it’s just the city. Hate to say it as an Atlanta native, but if a NY or LA team, or Philly, etc. had the rebuild we did, stars would join
Yo Dylan. I listen to you in those early morning hours 5:00–6:00. Doing awesome bro.
As far as who is to blame, it’s the front office. Nate McMillian used Lloyd Pierce’s system to achieve the success of ‘21. FO felt obligated to keep him because of the run, but they should’ve found a coach that runs similar things to ensure success of the run back. As far as the DJ thing, it could have worked, but the FO didn’t get the requisite pieces on the front court to ensure success. The jettisoned JC, and “attempted” to get Siakam as a replacement, but nothing happened. Clint has been in decline since ‘21 and the failures of the team are on Trae and DJ? Nahhh… get an owner that will spend and a GM with a spine and we would be in a much better position.
